If they have 3500 and change showing up for a practice, that actually is fairly decent. Considering it was only announced, that's a good number for the money. It can gain traction and only get bigger in the future.
The O-line is going to make or break the 2024-25 season so it is a bit concerning to hear Coach worry and chuckle about whether we can pick up third down blitzes.
Nebraska will spend 3 hours this summer on the running game. It will be the QB taking the shotgun snap, turning and handing off to an undersized RB standing dead still. With zero FB blocking he will run straight into the buttt of the guard who is being pushed back into him like a drink cart. 3-9 at best this year.
The fragility of these modern football players is alarming, over and over tweak this and can’t play, all the gear the trainers nutes facilities, and injury along with injury, mb the training is wrong or the food nutrition is wrong, but something has to be off,

Hes resting some of his players? what in the hell is going on with this guy. He’s such a sofite. UTEP is going to beat the crap out these guys. Crazy thing is. Nobody is expecting Nebraska to lose to UTEP. And let’s not mention what Colorado is going to do these chumps. Smh. #SkoBuffs
Why is that such a bad thing though? We’re tied for 3rd in the country in returning starters. These guys have plenty of experience they need the rest. We get to see some of the young recruits. And I don’t think just because we rest starters utep is going to win let alone beat us up. As for Colorado you do know who you’re playing week one right? ND state is no joke. Deion has already said he wants shedur to go #1 overall next year which means a heavy pass offense, and your rolling out a new offensive line full of transfers with a freshman at left tackle, not to mention shedur is known for holding onto the ball to long ….. We already had 8 sacks in last years game vs you guys, and that was with our QB giving you the rock 3 times. I’m all for rooting for your favorite team but i don’t think either team is going to blow us out. I think they both will be competitive. As for Matt rhule I think he teaches discipline and humility. But we’ve had like 8 losing seasons, he knows the pressure. If our vet starting center gets hurt, or starting FS or any of these other vets he’s taking the blame. IMO it’s better than Deion making promises again this year that last year he didn’t come close to keeping. Remember players have to play and win the games, but Deion talks louder than them all.
