Why is everyone hear mad about him saying that it’s going to take time. He’s not just going to magically undo all the old staffs coaching. The difference between him and others is that he is a proven program builder when you give him time. Just wait and you will see

@@jakesjoints1Deion has a bigger brand than most coaches and his staff he’s assemble is actually pretty impressive, it’s going to take an above average coach at least 4 years to build a good portal roster and that’s if they can even land those kinds of players. That’s not even factoring in decent hs classes along with those portal guys
People are freaking out after we lost a game most were expecting us to lose. You guys are delusional. Chill out a bit. Give the staff time. Here’s how this weekend plays out: if we go even or win the turnover battle, we WIN the game. Not 100% confident that will happen though so I give CU a slight edge, but we’re not getting blown out. I think Minnesota is a lot better than people think because we made them look bad at times. They have a QB with starting experience who has played really well at times, they have NFL picks on defense and at TE, they have all conference players at RB and WR, they are a very solid team and probably win the west.

Most of you guys forget they play absolutely ZERO defense in the big 12. Minnesota has a WAY better defense than Colorado does. Minnesota is bigger and more physical than Colorado is. Yes, Colorado has athletes but we should be able to run the ball on them and I think our defense will do a solid job as well. It’s COLORADO, you guys are WAAAAAAY over reacting to them barely beating a team that we don’t even know how good TCU is this year and TCU still almost beat them after they made a bunch of dumb plays. Colorado aren’t world beaters. They have good athletes and a solid QB.

They aren’t the same team as last year and teams get over ranked constantly. Look at the duke/ clemson game. What’s more likely, that duke is just AMAZING and should be a top 5 team, or that Clemson is over ranked?? Colorado did look poised. Their offense looks good, but their defense AND TCU’s defense both looked like hot garbage. ESPN’s matchup predictor has us as a 60% favorite and we’re only a 3(now 3.5) point dog. They could have a few good drives on us but I’m pretty sure we can run the ball on them. Like I’ve said, if we go even or win the turnover battle we win this game.

Loved the positive relationship that Minnesota and Nebraska fans had last Thursday and Friday. The coaches both showed class. It was a tough-fought game--- with an absolute miracle catch! Football. Life. Faith.
I would not focus on getting one player going. I would focus on getting the offense going. IMO the OLine is better than last year. Getting a run game going via the running backs makes the defense hesitate a little, and can set up play action passing game. Also if you are ahead in the 4th qtr running the ball is generally a good idea. Anyways good luck and GBR.
we have heard that stupid excuse for the last 20 years. sanders did it in year one, most coaches do it in year one. at least make a bowl game. he is over his head. because he took two crappy teams and made them not as crappy, that makes him a proven program builder? or is it his failure in the nfl. taking a decent team and making them terrible
Our offensive staff needs to be more organized and better. Any other player on the team can fumble in the 4th qtr. and we as intelligent fans can live with it. But Grant cannot have that fumble in the 4th b/c of what Rhule made public previously. That is maddening to a rational fan. Sims has to be given a different play at the goal line right before half that has a roll out quick pass option and throw away if it's not there and he has to be reminded of that right before the play. Or if it was supposed to go to the TE, SIms evidently is one of those players who has to be reminded more than most players. Starting tailback has 2 less carries than the 3rd stringer? A WR who is not even listed on the depth chart runs an end around and then vanishes for the rest of the game? Why him? Too many head scratching decisions. We deserved a better game plan from the offensive coaches who put themselves squarely on the hot seat and are going to start really feeling the Nebraska fishbowl pressure. Watched the entire Colorado game and likely now we go 0-2 and our third opponent just went up to Boston College and beat them in OT this past weekend. Hello. GBR
By the way...CU got some other weapons too #4..#14..#18 and s #20 are all just as good as them other boys that got most the snaps on Saturday..not to mention the aint even play their #1 running back which is #22

If you listen to the talking heads , you would think Nebraska will fail against Colorado. That was only one game. Nebraska is a very athletic, big ten team. A new coach at Colorado makes for interesting conversation but the players play the game. Nebraska is a real test for the buffalo. It will be their first loss.

It depends on how Nebraska plays it. If they run 70/30 they got a chance. CU will make adjustments they hear the chatter and their defense will be hyped to make up for what most call a bad game especially in stopping the run. If their defense comes out swinging look out because it’s going to be a long day for big red. I would use that over eager behavior against them and run the ball trying to keep the ball out of their hands as long as you can. If it turns into a track meet it’ll be over by the half. Colorado averaged 1.5 yds a carry on offense last week, Nebraska was at 7 YPC at one point but dropped off to 5 YPC. Colorado is gonna throw it all over the field. Keep that in mind.
Colorado can't stop our run game. Don't care how fast or talented they are, they couldn't do shit to stop TCU in the run and we're even bigger. Their defense blows, linebackers suck and they couldn't go 2 plays without a blown coverage and missed tackle. TCU lost everyone on offense and still put up 40 on them lmao
