I really want Thomas Fidone to have a "Breakout Game." I have been in the stadium for all three games and it seems to me that other teams are focusing on him and often, "Double Teaming" him because they know of his reputation on receiving. Maybe this means working on more separation for Thomas. I am not sure, that is up to him, but I know he has the talent and ability to succeed.

I hope to see Thomas Fidone get more balls, but I can see other teams keep an eye on him. This game can be challenging for both teams, but I think the home team has the advantage to prepare vs traveling. It will be up to Offense line to continue to protect the QB and see more short passes. Running backs will have a challenge to break out on Illinois. I hope to see improvements from the Special team.

It is very hard to compare rankings at this point in the season. Most teams have only played non-conf teams, with a lot of FCS mixed in. Too much variability in the matchups to really get a good read. Once you get to the midway point, offensive or defensive rankings are a lot more telling.

I'll go with 35-17. I think we need to breakthrough on some long passes/runs to open up the control offense. We have the weapons, let's use them. Defensive score - either by interception or scoop and score. Would love to see Ty rumble in on a scoop/score

31-13 Nebraska. I can’t imagine our defense giving up more than that, and I have a feeling we are going to run the ball easily down the field and get in the end zone. We look good as far as not fumbling goes, and I don’t think we will throw enough for interceptions to play a major role (I hope).
