Nebraska beat itself against Illinois and every group took part in the self inflicted incidents. Intentional face masks by the secondary, an interception, missed blocks, miss tackling, offsides, encroachment, unnecessary roughness, bad cover techniques, easy field goal mishaps, running down the clock unnecessarily, no lanes to run the ball.......if it takes that much to make Nebraska lose in OT then the Huskers are special... It took a lot to beat Nebraska last Friday. Nebraska has got to get out of it's own way if they are going to progress.

They may've drank the kool-aid too soon. Maybe losing now will snap them out of it. Hypothetically, a 9 - 3 year + a bowl game win will be a huge success for them, if you ask me.

Yeah this and below average officiating added insult to injury. I thought Tony White was uncharacteristically not good. They were doing well when they brought pressure from the outside but the majority of their blitz plays were undisguised pressures straight up the middle and easily picked up.

Wrong. Nebraska had the most passing yards in a game since 2022. Nebraska can run the ball, Nebraska's best running back wasn't even in the game last week. Nebraska has really excelled at attacking the edges. Seems like it's almost a guaranteed first down.

Look i have to disagree with ur take. We couldent run cuz illinois was playing an 8 man box and basically daring raiola to beat their secondary with his arm which he did . We lost cuz of the defense and penalities. The offense dominated illinois d up until the final overtime drive. Purdue dosen't have the same offensive weapons that Illinois had to be able to keep up with us. I also think we are gonna get smacked by osu in the shoe.

the problem with them running the football is that they're using the wrong back, emmett johnson has had better runs in the limited opportunities than dowdell has in all his carries. i don't know how they still have dowdell as their lead back when they have better rb's in their room
