NECA has been producing solid Alien figures for quite some time now and this Scorpion Alien figure is no different. Thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate it!
Initially I wasn't very interested in this figure, but seeing him up close in your review has changed my mind. He's awesome! Love the gold on black look to him-plus all those spikes!
Absolutely love this figure! Just unboxed mine and it’s better than I could have imagined! The paint work and detail is amazing! Definitely worth the buy especially for any Alien fans!
I love this figure. If I could change anything, I just wish they would have given it a larger tail. I know the original Kenner version had a small tail, but NECA has changed details on most of their homage figures so it wouldn't have been out of the question.
I had an pet emperor scorpion that behaved like this guy, real nasty little bugger, tore crickets apart mercilessly, whenever I tried to clean his vivarium he'd try and attack me 😂 R.I.P Edward
This one is great and I really feel like this inspired the look of Warrior aliens in Fireteam Elite, I really hope we get a fireteam elite Warrior sometime.
I just picked him up and he's cool, but he isn't $37 cool. If he was like $20, I would totally be in love with him, but for that price he should have included an egg and face hugger or something like the ones in the boxes have.
This one and the new arachnoid aliens are the best aliens that neca has produced so far. Im looking forward to the panther alien when it finally makes it to the stores
This is another on I think is super dope. I just saw the review on the rhino alien and mantis alien and I’m really beginning to think I’ve been sleeping on getting these alien figures. I only have one. Unfortunately it had a massive amount of QC issues his arms broke off at the elbow and tail snapped off. That really deterred me from aliens. I’m a predator collector so I’m no stranger to QC but the first alien I got put a bad taste in my mouth but I’m willing to give them a second chance.
@@gokubruce24 I get them on BBTS. Neca figures take months to hit the shelves in comic book stores here in Ireland, so even with BBTS slow shipping and import charges, it's still usually quicker.
@@TheReviewSpot With Neca's unpredictable QC issues, I was half expecting the Scorpion to explode like the old Kenner even though he doesn't have that feature, lol
Don't know, bud. And I don't even think now that Disney owns the Alien franchise they would still consider make it on their property, because the company focuses on family friendly movies.
@@timothyrobinson2387 ok, bro. I'm not saying you're wrong, I am also waiting for his next prequel movie so that he can finish his prequel trilogy. But I am still wondering what Prometheus could have been. Jon Spaihts' original script, Alien: Engineers, was an even better prequel.
@@timothyrobinson2387 then you're lucky you can get to read it if you want. Is anyone else having an issue where both legs have fallen out of their sockets and can't be put back together? One leg has a hole and the other has a peg and both must be connected through a hole in his lower pelvis. I've tried using oil to lubricate the peg but I cannot seem to get it in.
