Watching this video is making me green with envy. This is the one Jason figure that has alluded me. I have the 1/4 scale but this one I cannot get my hands on. But the hunt is half the fun so I'll just keep looking.
You'd think the newer version would've given him GREY pants this time - like the 1984 film (and the Neca Pt 3 Jason). I got sick of seeing my Jason wearing the wrong coloured pants, so gave him an acrylic repaint and added some semi-gloss finish to his hockey mask. He's looking more screen accurate now.
We've been waiting it forever, and we're still waiting! I had to customize a Mcfarlane Movie Maniacs Jason into a Jason Takes manhattan figure. Seriously, it's the ONLY Jason we've never got in any form.
the thing you did not notice is the crack on the mask. the reissue has cracks on both masks (15:43) while the original has it only on the worn out one (which makes more sence and movie accurate). take a closer look and you'll see. that's a big difference for me and that's why I like original much better. they simply screwed the reissue up with this inaccurate detail.
Do you have any of the old mezco Jason’s? Seeing how well they old up or what they look like in comparison to thier future Neca counterparts would be cool (like part 6 for example).
