They were good guys in the Archie TMNT comics and part of the Mutanimals.

Interesting. For me growing up, I had a handful of tmnt eps I could watch and got most of my info from the toy info or the Archie comics. These guys were COMPLETELY different in those comics.

Out of curiosity optibotimus, did ever watch the 2003 TMNT series? Because those are the Turtles I grew up with.

I didn't. I didn't really like it. It seemed more like they were young adults and not teenagers. Which put me off to it
