Loving Darktide, L4D comparison is spot on more so with each new mini boss they add. There are some caveats, 1 the crashes which they are fixing quickly, 2 they seems to be relearning some lessons from vermintide which is funny since players are literally pointing saying "please end match stats" "please clear stats on weapons" etc.. etc.., 3 Fatshark have not been clear on what the cash shop is even going to be (as of nov 29, and people are paranoid). With all that said the game is fun, the weapons feel like there ripped right out of 40K and the music is 12 out of 10, would it be wise to wait, most definitely atleast 1 week after launch to see where things are going but damn I am having fun blasting poxwalkers with my bolter and power sword!

I was trapped in Darktide for the last 4 days. And I love it. The music doesn't go out of my head, it's so good. The Boss music is 🔥

Darktide is pretty fun. Though I do feel like an All Guardsmen Party character most of the time we have psykers in our group.

As someone 60+ hours in it I love it, picked veteran solely for the plasma gun as I absolutely love all plasma based weaponry and it is an absolutely beautiful version of it. The sound, the feel, the joy of seeing the vapor trail as you turn that annoying sniper into a steaming smudge.

Level 9 Veteran... Best melee weapon so far... Standard Issued Imperial Shovel.... Now i understand that happy Kriegsman meme.
