we actually did film one this very day and I have it. just waiting to see what dani says about it. If we should release now or later when they do their north american tour.
This is the place I came upon hearing Dani is leaving the band. He was one of the main reasons I fell in love with Neck Deep and I hate to see him go, but if you're no longer enjoying it then I understand moving on
Neck Deep lost their most talented member...Dani was the only reason I could lose it and jam out to these new style punk beats with double bass thrown in. It was revolutionary in punk music and honestly idc to listen to Neck Deep now that he's gone
@@raviolijesus6181I’m right there with you guys. I’m out of neck because of how poppy their new stuff sounds. Dani is the spine of these songs. I guess there is an end to everything…
Vera Lucia Baptista after the fill on the toms and hi hat, he means to hit the splash with his left hand but instead hits the left cymbal above it that’s why he says it hahaha
best part is where he misses his splash (2:20), turns around and screams: FUUUUCK! lol, this dude is one of the coolest and most talented drummer out there! Hes so funny!
Omni Media Group Lmao no, he’s a fine drummer but that’s it. Simple pop punk grooves plus double strokes and occasional marching rolls = average. Nothing wrong with being average but there is something wrong with falsely inflating someone’s abilities.
I'd like to see all of you talking shit put up a cover of this song since it's so easy. Dani isn't some generational talent but to say this is just okay drumming is fucking funny. I'd like to see all you nail all those fills perfectly
@@bradleymitchell3808 It's not all that complex though? He didn't say it was easy, or that he could play it. Don't get all bent out of shape, bud. Dude gave a compliment and you felt the need to take it personally. Kinda hope you're a kid with an immature response like that. Cheers.
Met and chatted with the guy while me and my band played at warped Pomona this past year after our set. Smaller stage but he came and checked us out and was super chill, definitely one of the best out there for pop punk right now
Its 3 times better, if he's just the first Dani Washington. Stop comparing great talent to other great talent. Yeah, I know its 2 years later, wanna fight about it? Lol
Check out the bruise on his left leg from pounding his leg every night with each snare hit. I had the same bruise every night when I used to play regularly. Top playing.
i had already thought that neck deeps drummer had some pretty cool fills and arrangements.........being able to see it in this angle is pretty bad ass and confirms the man is a bad ass drummer
Athos oliver he's good.. bt no compares w/ Travis Barker m8.. I hope this guy could eventually bring the level that T.B. brought up to pop punk music on his years ..
How'd you get the concert drowned out like that so we can mostly only hear the drums? 😳 or is this just the drum tracking played over the actual live footage with low volume?
Neither. This is how it sounds on stage when you stand behind the drums. The PA speakers are way ahead at the front of the stage so you don't hear much or feel much of the power. That's why musicians use in-ear monitors (or good ol' floor monitors). That's so they can hear themselves. Cheers
Sounds like that's the raw audio through the camera microphone. AKA: the on-stage sound. The drummer is wearing in-ears so he's probably got everything he wants to hear running through that. So the on-stage noise is kept pretty minimal. Also, the kick being so quite is a dead give-away this isn't taken from any drum mics.
2:27 after he slays that fill, the smile on his face and his acknowledgment of how smoothly he nailed it, in combination of doing it at a live show is probably one of the greatest feelings you can feel as a drummer.
He smiled because he accidentally hit the crash instead of the small splash. Hence the ”FUCK!!!!!” But I see your point and know exactlt what you mean! The fill is clean as hell… Dani is definitely one of my favourite drummers in punk pop, with all his double bass stuff!
