1:54:05 The reason why Sampo and not someone else is because him and Sparkle know each other and Sparkle probably knew that him and the Trailblazer are also aquainted + the fact that it isn't uncommon for Sampo to disappear out of thin air just reappear at the least expected moments so seeing him in Penacony wouldn't be too weird. As to how Sparkle know Sampo : some quests heavily implies that he was (or is) also a Masked Fool but I don't think it was confirmed yet so we have to take that information with a grain of salt.
it is confirmed that he is a Masked Fool, the memory bubble that appears at the venue after you finish the Aetherium Wars event contains this information
Even getting all the details, as you're playing you naturally form your own theories and conclusions, especially with things that are up for interpretation and as such people come to have to differing perspectives. I made the mistake of doubting Hoyo's ability due to the disappointment in the Loufu and this made me think the signs were just plot holes. When I went through the fake ending I was legitimately so mad I started writing a hateful essay in my head haha. During the real ending my brain imploded and I shed tears for the first time in ages just thinking about how peak the story was and how brilliantly it was told. I now see this game as one of my personal favorites, up there with P5 and TW3 in terms of writing, just because of this arc. Some things definitely went over my head though for sure, like Ena having a lot of foreshadowing and signs sprinkled throughout (Ex; The eye in Sunday's outfit, and on the crow belonging to the dream master)
Well, with the yapheron meme and all, let alone the tiny details and hints here and there most ppl can't even pay enough attention to listen to what said, if they could they would just press the skip button. I think most ppl just want the action, and don't really care about the story telling.
Also I noticed a lot of ppl tried doing all 8 hours of the quest in 1 go, and started getting bored/tired/whatever towards the end, and they'd just start skipping/skimming the story. I did it in 2 or 3 parts throughout 2 days so the story was still fresh in my mind, and I wasn't mentally draining myself trying to push through 8 hours of quest.
@@plasmapanther4444 Yeah, that's also their own fault. I did it in one go too but that was only because I was hooked to the story. I hope the writers dont listen to the complaints of ''too much dialogue'' or ''bad pacing'' or ''hard to understand'', because them taking their time cooking is how Penacony ended up being a peak meal. Yeah, they aren't easy to understand themes. So what. Not everyone should be a story written for small children.
The sad part of not knowing Chinese is that the EN translations get things wrong at times in the story and in lore, the simple difference between "star system", "galaxy", "Milky Way", and "universe" makes it wonky for scaling how big events are
Fr, since 5 years ago when i started hi3 i rechecked the fan cn TLs from time to time. The urge to learn chinese been slowly growing inside me for years especially now that we are getting a bunch of games & they will def create their own connected lore enviroment if they have success. At least in the honkaiverse we have homulabs nowadays to compare with cn
@@facepalm50learning one of the hardest languages in the world will definitely not come easily to you, especially if you don’t have experience with Asian languages. I’ve been learning Chinese for basically my entire life and I’m still terrible at it (probably because I don’t put in enough effort). Even so, with my basic understanding of the language, the language that hoyo uses in their games is a lot more complex than the everyday Chinese you would see, and if you want to read the blocks of text that is the lore, you’re gonna have to put in a lot of effort to recognise and remember the niche terms. But if you learn it consistently for long enough, you should be able to get the hang of it eventually :)

We can't really blame him in this one, the damn dialogues are full of padding of characters speaking in riddles without any real meaning, i played HI3rd which was written by the same guy that wrote Penacony and oh my fucking god; outside of important moments, the dialogues are also full of people speaking in riddles for no damn reason
@@Amalia19 i agree penacony is full of riddles but this is not the case in this one. how is the bird falling and dying on the original memory a riddle when it's totally different from the dream where sunday agreed to take care of the bird? as self proclaimed lore master he should have remembered a creature dying.

It is most likely due to enigmata rule considering he is the history fictionologist (a faction belong to the path of enigmata). This path focused on obscuring certain truth, since some truth is dangerous if discovered, which in turm making enigmata a counter of erudition. One rule of fictionologist according to him is "fictionologist will cease to exist if completely exposed" and he broke this rule twice: First when sunday confront and figured out who he was. Second when he told MC party about himself.
Sparkle was distributing the buttons as a safety net, so that people who couldn't wake up to have the ability to leave Ena's dream, to help the Astral Express defeat Sunday. But that's a theory, a game theory.
Sunday's plan was to merge reality and dream, and the fusion was completed during the summoning of the Harmonious Choir. Meaning everyone only actually fell asleep during the fake boss.
Umm no. We ve met Misha outside of Dreamscape in 2.0. by the time we entered Penacony, we already in a dream. The part we lost to Sunday was offscreened
as a huohuo main i just wanna point out with her in ur team noone would sleep cause her passiv healing would dispell every debuff once ur characters turn comes up.
I am also confused about the layering of the dreams. And how some of the events there translate into reality like, aventurine still lost the cornerstone? But the jade from Luofu was not used? also when acheron woke up the mc during that awesome cutscene, did they have to relive everything again before making it to the second fight with Sunday?🤔
I mean, it's the most unsurprising and unimportant 'reveal' of all 2.2. Everyone already knew she was a Raiden Mei, and the info literally only matters if you're a HI3 player.

If you’re not pay to play during this fight scene it actually takes a few moments to take down Sunday. You can hear the entire crew of express have their own dialogue when using the Pompom drift. ❤
I was using my follow up team and actually lost against Sunday.. I have to bring Acheron and Black Swan and I'm still almost lost for the second time.. So I heard everyone's line..
I also like to play through the story boss fights on 1x speed. For me it had a bigger impact on it's cinematic value. Also I've got to listen to Robin's song for longer, which is a huge win.
0:06 i actually did excactly that necrit xD i pulled for robin at the moment i enter the big area from the theator with the stage and thought "ah whatever its a good area to pull robin just for the lulz, i mean its still pity for my firefly girl" and did a single 10 pull and legit got a 5star and it was a bailu bait with the very first from the 10. skipped the rest because yeah dont need to do it slow anymore because already got the 5star but legit i got ANOTHER 5star and it was robin. so with a single 10 pull two 5 stars xD i laughed my ass off and couldn't believe it. and the funny shit is, after the fake endboss at the moment i must meet the ipc dudes i was thinking again the same with top-azz "whatever why not its still pity so i lose not really something right?" and yeah.. again with a single 10 pull 5star and it was srsly top-azz. xD i was thinking my game was broken because holy shit was that luck?
