I like the format. Wanted to give you props for acknowledging OperaterOtters build and not trying to take the credit like some other content creators. I respect that!
I'm only lvl 51 and just about to clear the campaign with my friend but my current build is pretty crazy. I started as a summoner, then a few item drops restructured my build completely to all blood & bone. Mostly though it revolves around my blood lance (at lvl 6/5) jumping targets with over 100% damage to secondary targets, and my blood pulse overpowering and causing a minefield of volatile blood. Every once in a while I hit blood wave and then just run around exploding for 30 seconds straight while I laugh like a maniac. Highly recommend.
New to diablo games and first one I'm playing is 4. Since it is now on gamepass. Running a combo of shadow/blight/corpse/summoner. Really liking it but unsure how it will hold up in harder difficulties and endgame.
I like the format, good to see your face! Also I think one thing what hit Infinimist is that things just die too quickly, the content is not hard enough for it to ramp up and shine. (Also I love the bombardier build, I was making something similar until I ran into his build, I would prefer not to use Bone Spear entirely and do pure Corpse Explosion and I might still figure that out but it's such a solid build)

Yeah the main problem with a pure CE build is that you literally just dont have anything to spend talent points on, like you end up with 15 talents points with nothing valuable to gain. Plus there isnt a key passive that buffs it. I think there might be a shadow setup actually, with just raw CE. I'm cookin on it, well see
Yeah and also the corpse generation is a bit slow without Bone Spear, it's just a lucky hit monstrosity. I tried using Decompose with Rotting aspect and then the movement speed after channeling node, then Blood-Soaked aspect for a speedy Blood Mist but it felt kinda sluggish to play. I tried running 6 Reapers too but that was even worse, lol. Maybe some shadow setup with Sever and raw CE could work
I haven't tried all the builds yet, I tried bone spear, infinimist, and blood surge. Coming from ball lightning my favorite build is blood surge, because I play it like i play ball lightning. Pop a barrier, and move in. My barrier in this case is bone storm and popping a potion to proc Temerity's barriers. 😊
I like this format. I do enjoy comparison content, because not every casual player has time to try all possible builds and test them out. Playing a bonespirit/spear hybrid atm, no ubers. It's fine. But I guess at some point I'll have to switch to a full dedicated bonespear build as it seems to be the strongest meta rn.

I edited the bombardier build to my own style to be able to incorporate Bone Spirit alongside Bone Lance. Here's the fun part, I ended up with +27 CE, 17 BL and like 15 BS. Anything lower than T90 or overworld just died automatically. I could play without even pressing a bottom because once my Seneschal creates a corpse it's game over
Yo! So next challenge for you - come up with an optimized desecrated build? Using the desecrated glyph, then using some combination of blood mist, sever or blood wave and their 'desecrated' aspects/uniques. If I had time to experiment and try out those, I would... I know there's a blood wave desecrated build, but wondering if sever's unique boots or blood mist can actually scale enough dmg.

great work... I am stuck on a hybrid Blood Surge/Skeleton summons build right now. Deathspeaker's Pendant is kinda epic when blood Surge hits with like 12 minions. :-D
Great video, just starting out. I’m level 39 necro. Any suggestion on a build? I’m running a bone spear style build with minions. I’m starting to take a lot of damage now with the limited gear. I’m also playing on Xbox if that makes a difference
Agreed, this season I’ve gone from bloodsurge to bone spear to shadow blight/sever hybrid and now finally back to bone spear after getting a ring of sacrilegious souls, howl from below, and deathless visage. The other builds were a lot of fun but bone spear is top tier
I run a mix of infinimist and Xfal, and I soloed all the bosses at lvl 60-67 last season. Yes, Soloed, Duriel, Lilith, and even the world bosses. You can check it out on my channel. I did it to prove that it's a solid build by showing it can perform even against it's weakness (single target bosses). Doing it at such a lot level also meant I have half the life and almost no paragon board. The lucky hit nerf is a big blow to the build, but I'm redoing it this season and will see if it's still doable or not. *Grats for the face reveal! I still can't even bring myself to use my own voice (big accent and bad audio quality..). I'm working on it though.. internally.. building up the courage loll
This is kinda weak for bosses but I have a double evade pair of boots. I charge into a group of enemies. Activate my gollum ability use blood surge once which will kill one or 2 creating a corpse from which I spam corpse explosion killing everything in seconds. For bosses I do something similar but I use decompose which gives the chance of creating a corpse at which I randomly spam bloodlance. My gollum ability. Blood surge and decompose. While also creating minions which the corpses as they die

Hey Goblin! Thanks for this content. I am currently using a pure bone spear necro. I am breezing through the content except for T100 son of malphas and uber lilith. What could be the problem? If you may suggest other builds or itemization, I would really appreciate it.
I've been thinking about trying a mix of Army of the Dead with Thorns setup. I am not sure if all the damage modifiers like +summoning or +vulnerable damage would affect the thorns. Still just musing on paper, haven't actually tried in game yet. It would help a lot if we could actually look at minion stats.

Shadow minions is about the same as pure summoner, C tier, still able to do 100's. I think bone spirit with minions could probably do 100s but it would be a straight downgrade from both pure minions and pure bone spirit
it doesn't have build diversity. It's bone spear and that's it. That is if you care about doing high level content like T100 NM or wtv this season of AOZ will be (Gauntlet?). Sever, minions, blood lancer, bone spirit, are all ok and viable but if you played Bone Spear and tried any of those others, it's not comparable. Bone spare can easily breeze through any dungeons while also melting bosses like duriel. You say sever is well rounded lol? People called you out on your Sever build video for showcasing a build that took forever to clear a mob of regular enemies, meanwhile Bone spear would one shot them same group. This is what i hate about D4. There is A tier builds for any class and they are ok at doing most content but when it comes to high level stuff, its S tier or nothing and each class has usually 1-2 of those S tier builds.

Jesus seriously, sorcs take multiple defensives, barbs take multiple shouts, druids run bulwark if they can't run debil roar, and rogues, well I don't see any of those
I srsly recommend you to take a look at others' builds, the tier list is completely messy. as soon as you watch an optimized bone spirit nec, you'll realize no nec variations can even compete with it atm. and these people believe you're telling the truth...well, gauntlets will tell.
