NECROMANCER PHANTASY CALRADIA | Warband Mod Gameplay Let's Play 

In my head canon, your character is a forward-thinking necromancer that believes his summoned minions deserve a living wage despite being sworn to his service.

I probably would have put all my weapons proficiency into throwing for mage spell throwing. Mage spells are Obsidian spire, Shinzaluk's ladder, elf forest, or wizard tower at Ridas Mageocracy. Shadows were a fine choice for summoned troops, in that shadows have good magic resistance. In terms of pure numbers fast specialized skeletons cannot be beat. Teleports are offered at four ways inn and each of the magic guilds. For spells you should be aware your magic skill needs to be high enough to actually use the spell. You already have magic missile so don't buy that. I'll look at the sound for charged staff; my speakers are down and I do most of my testing early morning before my spouse awakens so I have sound off. Patch A6 fixes quests and hung dialogs. I spent all of yesterday completely rewriting dialogs, removing 5 problematic quests that could have resulting in a dialog hang. I'd have pumped up intelligence at my first level up, to next select higher magic skill. Higher magic skill gives more damage from spells. Early spells to buy I'd consider Acid Arrow against anyone in heavy armor, especially clerics and priests, which should scare you at this stage in your career. I probably would have been using magic missile from horseback. For the magic effect readout on armor, that was me. For Deshavi I may have left her ragged armor on because it was lightweight and she can dodge, but its reasonable to wear an iron shirt like you gave her. The dawn, royal, and azure gems were for lichdom. You're a lich, relax. There's even a lich aura that fires by itself every 40 seconds or so. Watch for enemies that start running. Ice Storm needs magic 6, Fireball 5, Lightning 5. All of these are AoE and by the way cannot be cast from horseback. Anything AoE is not for casting by horseback, so slow and darkness also are for foot based use. The damage and damage radii will increase as your magic skill goes up.

Fireball get off the mount. Your novice tunic had a spell boost of +1. In theory, a master leatherworker can craft mid tier mage armor and head gear, but they are very high skill needed in leatherworking. Eventually it gets cheaper to build than buy, but it takes a good long time to get to the point where its cheaper to make than buy. When you craft things you have a fairly high chance of getting an item modifier added to the crafted item. If you have much higher skill than the recipe, positive modifiers are more likely to be added. This could at the highest skill allow the occasional "lordly" or "mastercrafted" item, which makes up for the fairly steep cost to become master level in a crafting skill. I'll find the sound for charged staves and tweak that for A6. There are important changes so far. I'll be offline tomorrow; every Saturday is reserved for hiking with my spouse. I have to thank Reformist TM once more for bringing this mod to your attention. My first interaction with him was building an overnight revision for Perisno 0.721 in one of his Let's Play series. I wasn't Perisno's point of contact, so he never heard from me. But it was my build he played the next day. Reformist plays differently than I do and finds things I just didn't expect. I like that. I haven't touched Perisno since 2016 v0.723, but here and there Reformist showcased something I touched in other mods. I saw my dodge, for example, in Warsword Conquest playing next after this video. I wasn't even the first author of dodge, but it has a specific change the way it gets implemented in mods I touched. That was very controversial at first. I don't have access to the source there now and I haven't asked for it, to avoid a conflict of interest. But I do hope Phantasy Calradia 2024 becomes as clean as could be asked for. Certainly your comments will make some difference in how the mod continues to evolve.

I’ve been playing a Necro/mage and I’m about one in game year into the play through; it is a lot of fun! Will be nice to watch this and see if I’m making any mistakes! 😂

Since the text faded right after you hit with the staff I can't see how much you did for sure, but am I correct in reading that you did _at least_ 175 damage with that staff? (7 shots of 25 magical damage)
