Necromunda - Brutes, Hangers-on, & Hired Guns 

The Necromunda rules are like that meme with the guy pointing at the board with all the pictures and string between them. When in doubt I go to the Necrodamus pdf some diligent players compiled, it has "If available for free in the next battle and not used, the Bounty Hunter will leave automatically. In other words, they must be used in the next battle, or be lost." I can see it in the Book of Shadow under the "We'll get our Bit" special rule

I think you know well enough not to expect an actual rule XD The closest I could find is "A fighter may climb up and onto structures and between various levels and platforms as they move and may end their movement on any level if there is sufficient space for their base." Then there is the section about jumping which suggests if youre base is larger than the gap you don't need to jump. That's not directly about sitting on platforms but seems to suggest the game is okay with overhang. I know in Warcry as long as the Centre of the base is on the platform and it'll stay up there then you're good. That seems like a good approach.

I'm no stranger to mini games, but I haven't played old Necromunda and have just played a few tutorial games in the current edition, but was captivated by the look of the Ash Waste Nomads, and had an old voucher at Forge World, so getting the Duneskuttler seemed an obvious choice (who doesn't like a giant bug? :p)

If you had a group of friends, a hanger-on would be someone who isn't really part of your group but for some reason is always around.

Yes! GSC rules are in the book of peril. They have a slightly different table for reputation, starts from Less than 10 for 1, then 10 to 14 for 2, 15 to 19 for 3, 20 to 24 for 4 and each additional 5 is another one. The table does just say Hangers-on, but presumably that's both both Hangers-on and Brutes. I don't believe they can get any House Agents but they do have a House Favours table which gives you a chance if getting a purestrain genestealer for a fight 😍 Bounty Hunters and Hive Scum will be the same as usual, there are a few that will only join a specific gang but the majority will work for anyone. Same with alliances, no restrictions for GSC as far as I'm aware.
