Luka, for your reference, the term "Phaerakh" comes from the Fall of Orpheus Imperial Armour book, and is used to describe the female Phaeron of the Maynarkh Dynasty.
Man, Steve missing that shooting phase for the suppressors was brutal, could have not lost a guy to overwatch. That Necron recursion for warriors is insane.
*necrons take no casualties due to reanimation protocols* "I don't wanna play anymore" Says the guy playing the BRAND SPANKING NEW UNNERFED DARK ANGELS CODEX in a NARRATIVE CAMPAIGN
@@sammythorn That's a little strong, I'm 90% sure he's just joking of course. That kind of humour just doesn't land for me when he's playing the NEW CODEX. If he was playing a less-crazy army it'd be funny
DA are good, but so are necrons, also you obviously havent watched steve play, as thats a joke that happens every time, no one is being serious, thats what is great about these guys
These games are so much more fun than the random games. Also helps that Xenos is involved, Space Marines and Chaos tend to be unbelievably boring. Having the double set of objectives (campaign vs battle) in addition to individual unit progressions make for a really interesting games!
Not a bad battle here. Fairly even. I will say that I still hate that trait that allows an automatic pass on RP in Crusade though. Just a feels bad ability, especially if you can't bring overwhelming firepower/melee to the combat. Also, being able to put them back anywhere is super annoying. That being said, it was a fun BatRep to watch. :)
Watch some of Quirks old games. IIRC, the first gorkamorka campaign had a game when he rolled yahtzee on ones twice in the same game. That guy had the worst luck.
My record for 1's and 2's in a single roll is 14 out of 17 dice thrown. I also threw a perfect demo charge onto a terminator blob once just to roll 8 1's to wound on 8 dice.
Female-necron lords are exists in actual WH 40K background. Proofs: check the second book about Mephiston, and the secon book about Ynnari *(there the eldar came to bow to the queen of the tomb world)*
They're based on ancient egypt and they had female pharaohs and queens so... it would be surprising if some necron lords weren't female. Especially since they're just alien skeletons so you can't tell their sex by looking at them
@@myfaceismyshield5963 Agree. Of course, they do not look like in those arts from devianart, where they are depicted as f****n anime girls, from whose appearance, the Tech-priests would be vomit from it >.
Y'all should 100% read the infinite and the divine. By far the best xenos novel that I have read, it goes into internal necron politics a lot and you see that there are quite a few female necron characters.
@@MajorTakano34 yeah, in outer appearance all necrons look more or less the same regardless of the physical qualities they had back when they were necrontyr
Hey I haven't seen it. Not sure if it'll get seen. But. If you upgraded BGV sarge MCPS with weapon upgrade for crusade you get d6 +d3 and if any other model in unit has the same weapon they get those buffs as well. It's crazy good for plain squad.
I would like to see match game Necrons vs Death Guard. Not narrative but real sport, with best armies you could get 2000 pts. For now I have a feeling DG is pretty unbeatable. I would like to know if tomb dwellers have a chance.
I'd love to see that. I don't think DG is too OP, at least compared to the other new codexs, and I think Necrons could hang. I seem to remember that the Night Bringer is one of the few solid counters to Mortarian so I think they have a chance.
37:17 ish "hitting on twos" clearly picks up and rolls a 1 he shouldn't have. probably seems alittle petty to point this out. But I'm sure everyone has that one guy who 'forgets' for his benefit. Can't ever let that subtle stuff fly.
I love the terrain, however, most Tyra I’d terrain never seems to block line of sight like other “traditional” terrain pieces. Not as much verticality. I’m surprised more terrain companies haven’t thought about that.
Wouldn't the Lych Guards wound the Bladeguard on 3's? They are S5 or 6 with phaseblades. Luka was rolling to wound on 4's several times and shorted himself some wounds.
To be honest, I am getting really tired of a woman constantly screaming in my ears throughout these campaign videos. Quite annoying. Great game anyways.
But the Dark Angels chapter is a loyalist space marine chapter who don't worship chaos... the only reason there even is any debate is because they're supposed to be mysterious and they're protestants where the Imperial creed are the catholics and Mechanicus are greek orthodox... they're not chaos worshippers, they're heretics (in the real meaning of the word heresy, not in the sense of the word that GW tends to use)
@@myfaceismyshield5963 You got that mixed up. But you've clearly fallen in with the wrong group. Cypher is the true loyalist. Two of the five at least.
