@@aluxtaiwan2691 I did it in Minecraft a few times. It is less scary than most other games. Probably because in Minecraft, there is absolutely nothing below bedrock, whereas in other games you can also find something weird.
I found almost all the canyons, but my favourite is the one from the career start(where cross is chasing you ). How to get: 1. After you choose the location of the challenge, exit to free roam 2. On the radar, position yourself to north. 3. Straight ahead 4. Skip the first canyon you find ( just go near the edge of the track on the radar-> don't enter the track) then keep north. 5. You should be in a floating 2D city. Keep driving around it and look for the track on the radar. 6. If you are under the track, follow the route on the radar, until you arrive at the end(there, you are at the same heigh of the road) 7. To make sure you are at the right canyon, at the end of it you find a truck (just like the career start movie)
If you enter then is not a big deal is just the pits having a invis wall so just drive the opposite way or just stay and follow under the track untill you touch the bottom of the road
the reason why canyon exist in the free roam map and are very far is... Carbon was released before done, we all know carbon like this, but he is incomplete from what he was to be, the game was released early because the fanatics from most wanted sent lots of e-mails to EA, bothering them and asking for Carbon, and EA "finished" the project soon and released. maybe this explain lots of things for everyone, why carbon is short, and why sometimes seems simple compared with most wanted... san juan was to be the main city, much more detailed, better road connections, he looks more a real city, when the main city in carbon is like random roads without connections. the promisse was free roam in everything, to canyon, and to drift stadium. carbon has few tier 1 cars, less than most wanted, few challenge series, few events, and the main game not have the same map from demo. it explain why some performance fails exist, an vette accel more than gallardo, in real life they has the same accel, if is a Z06, but in carbon is the old vette, he has very inferior accel against gallardo, but it was not reviewed, and other powerful cars was so underrated in circuits, like murcielago, supra and evo. the idea of game was races inside a territory and domain that place, but when the game was released, only the start point is in the territory, but we race outside too, because the map was shortened. crew has only 6 members, and races uses only 1, when racewars for example, have 4 members of other crews, the crew battle i think would be much more explored and complex, in released carbon we basically not feel a crew existence. I know about this because i followed all steps of carbon project before being released, well, EA said nothing to me about the e-mails, but i think is because e-mail spam from fans because they said something about when released undercover, in the main site.
There are hundreds of "lost cities", textures, test and not used track sections or even full tracks not used in the game...the map in the game fools you, hiding tons of content, which can be seen even on the canyon races-the cities in the background and some can be reached just with hacks or glitches...this game is a mystery...and all questions about it will never be answered...
Im willing to pay 100 dollars or more for someone to work on this game... You know.. like a fan project or something, i would be willing to pay 100 for a copy of their finished project. Maybe we should even start a kickstarter or something to donate money just so a group of people can work on the project... I just really love need for speed carbon and i want to see it finished, and i believe there are lots of people out there who would want the same thing too...
I remember doing this glitch all the time when I was younger. Loved driving on the canyons (If you knew where to find them) and smashing the traffic off the road. If I remember, you could access the drift course as well with this glitch.
Another way of getting to the canyons which might be much easier than this is to use the free moving debug camera from the nfs extra options. You can get into the free moving camera mode, directly fly to the canyons and once you reach there, press the car spawn button, in my case it was "\". The spawn button effectively spawns the car in the place where the free moving camera is. With this trick i literally visited every canyon and san juan in just one go and even returned back to palmont city manually.
What if all the best mod creators for NFS Franchise work together on Project: Resurrected Carbon. Making an entirely new game with all areas of the new palmont (San Juan + all canyons + mysterious south island + other locations) with all unfinished cars redesigned as finished ones and all music tracks, Hidden safehouse and car dealerships, hidden AI racers and crews, everything revealed and resurrected into the new game With HD textures and sound, New HUD, updated music tracks etc.
Imagine falling through the ground and then reaching the canyon, only to fall once again on the canyon road, even though it's at a higher elevation than the main city. Scary game mechanics
if you reset during a chase you instantly get busted. also, you need to answer to a rival challenge to activate the glitch, which can't happen if you're in a pursuit
Haha! Thanks for the video man! It took me a few tries to get to the Canyon since i mistook the Drift Track as the Canyon and i had to do it all again, but i managed to get to the Canyon. TIPS: If you guys fall down in the Canyon before you get in the streets, try to climb up with your car. There isn't really a "restriction" for this since there aren't really any places that high that you must climb so Carbon's game physics allows you to climb up. Keep in mind that cops can climb up too so be careful!!
Yup, it's too inexplicable to see how they got up there. A thing I noticed with the cops on canyon roads is that they always drive down the canyon road, never back up it.
Hint: pause the game when you finish glitching off of the bus station before you start driving in case you do the glitch wrong otherwise the pause will be disabled and you'll need to restart your game
I got on the canyon but on just a different road, I had to switch from my murcielago to my charger, this video has really helped me, now I can play on the canyon when I want.
Actually it's not the only spot cause at the first time I tried this i went the wrong way and ended up falling somewhere at the beginning of the canyon. And after a long fall I randomly got the canyon road in front of me and I rode to the road (lol ;p) and got in the canyon. But nevertheless great video man, thnx for all the work!
after finishing the game in 10 years again, i feel like a lot is missing and not connected. I unlocked the M3 GTR and it is not available in Free Roam? WTF? It requires you to do shit in career mode and doesnt let u drive it. Also, the canyon roads should all be connected to the city. The paintjob in Carbon are bad compare to Most Wanted.. 15 Boss with each unique designs, And Carbon only 4-5 not so great designs. I wish each game has a development cycle of 2 years+ , so we can get a better game to play on after 10 years time!
@blacknoobie22 First of all, there are many drift tracks in this game. This is either Knife's edge or Copper ridge (they are the mirrored version of each other if you notice). And I do have a question: Do I have to use this plastic thingy? It doesn't work with the DB9:(

i have a BIG problem, when i challenge somebody, my car still resets in the same place where i waited for the challenger.so, it seems like i can only do this once :(
@ThEZuKane Tune the gearbox for top speed, install all the upgrades and you can even see a Lancer going at that speed. Do these things on a Challenger and you will see even higher speeds. When I successfully passed the wall with the Challenger and went free, I saw 405Km/h before using nitrous. Are you sure you want to know what it did with the nitrous, or do you already feel dizzy with the non-nitrous speed?
I don't think they ever wanted to make that city at all. You were able to freeroam in the canyon in the beta and still now due to glitches. All of the canyons were supposed to be connected to each other. You'd have roads to canyons, even if they're like 15 kilometers away. That'd be like 3 minutes for you to arrive
Yeah, i found this camping spot at one of the canyons where there is this grassy ledge you have to drive slow on the edge of the hill then there is this invisible wall but dont worry just drive alongside it till you get to the ledge :D if your feeling really ballsy you can try to ramp the small gap in between the parts of the hill like the cops try to, but it generally doesn't work for them LOL, so yeah :D
You don't need to get there when you have full of Downtown Just teleport to the Car Lot near the Silverton Tunnel,then quit it and go to the nearest Bus Stop then press R(use NOS quickly)
Dude it works after having 13 errors but the canyon is very small and the end of the road is close both end side, but i wanna check out the other canyon BTW thanks bro for sharing your thoughts...
@exxon095 Yes, the Le Mans is the concept version of the R8. The difference is small. Both cars have nothing to do with the... RX-8, do they? Ah, and now that I am here, let me note that I found the way through. Best thing is that I don't have to use this ugly thing we see in this video. I got it with the Challenger Concept, which I tried to make like Angie's... She uses the basic body 11 vinyl, but I am still struggling to find the right dimensions...
I want to see what happens when you drive you car off those loose walls and fall off the edge. Will it go cut-scene and reset you or will something supernatural will happen!
damn bro that wqs hard it took me two days to acomplish it well i didnt do it the way you showed, i somehow crashed into the mountain and i climelbed my self up it was really hard but i just did it
