The eerie and dark atmosphere in carbon was really great but it just lacked a lot in gameplay and story. I never explored the map like i did with rockport

The game went into production early 2005 for a late 2006 release. However the game started to fall behind schedule and planned content was cut in order to meet the deadline by October 2006. The map was originally larger, police had a more important role beside being an obstacle in the original game, other crews were cut from and some played as possible bosses. This game had potential to just as big as most wanted in terms of career length but due to time constraints they had to cut back a good amount of content to meet the deadline. Shame that the studio who produced most wanted and carbon were shut down in 2012 and we won’t get a true follow up to the Carbon story I really loved the Canyon duels and soundtrack to this game feels very nostalgic. I played this game on various consoles ps2, Nintendo Ds, game boy advance, psp, xbox 360, and PS3 that how much I love this game.

I mean, although a big part of the fault is because EA or whatever the studio is makin' the game, is also because the games are not succeeding enough. I mean not all the latest games have a story with and ending that could be used for a sequel (only rivals and payback), but it's not impossible to make a sequel. The problem is that nowadays EA is trying to find how to make nfs appealing again, but their games are not the best, so they are redoing their games with a different story each time unlike blackbox gold era, where we had underground 1 and 2, and mw and carbon games.

No. Cross is in Palmont for weeks. Player was just keeping low profile going over through rural areas for month or more to go to other side of united states. Car is just slower so newbies can get a hang of driving. Same way its in other games. (Integra type R in UG1)

@@erso_returned2530 Because this is logical minimum for him to both arrive in palmont before us, get connections(informants) and be known/recognized by Darius, its obvious they had atleast one or two run in's before from how they interact in the intro. Player's trip across the country from Rockport possibly too even longer i would rathee say couple months at very least. Cross was just hoping we would turn up at his childhood city. As its all he knew that could let him get back on the Player Character.

@AbdulAzeem Shaikh Well right now you're speaking about the gameplay, in Palmont city there's isn't any Blacklist which is why you don't have to earn Rep or Bounty And yes MW 2012 was supposed to be a sequel to mw 2005,it would have been amazing since our character's story would get more development (Mia was kidnapped and the kidnapper gives us orders, the player speaks and mentions his family etc)

No, it's not the same guy from Need For Speed: Underground and you know why? Not because the nerds know a lot, but because the screenwriter of Need For Speed: Underground 2 and Need For Speed: Most Wanted has already stated in an interview that is available on RU-vid that they are different protagonists :)

@@Travis-guy-247 You just said it yourself, this is just an easter egg, a reference to the old games, they are not the same players, this reference does not mean anything against the fact that the two stories do not coincide and the Need For Speed writer himself: Most Wanted has already stated that the story of this game has nothing to do with the previous game.

Nah Hero is not same protagonist from nfs underground 1 and nfs underground 2, Hero is from Palmont City and he just role as Player (Hero) protagonist from nfs carbon (2001) and nfs most wanted (2005) then Hero back to Palmont City nfs carbon (2006)
