Need for Speed: Carbon PS2 Gameplay HD (PCSX2) 

Underrated NFS imo, such as good as Underground 2 and Most Wanted 2005.

Sadly, this is the last were NFS series was masterpiece.

I’m 17 now and holy shit I still remember literally all of these cutscenes perfectly from when I was like 5 or whenever that was when I played it lol great game tho

Racing games aren't usually my cup of tea but this game is truly a masterpiece.

this game was so dramatic for no reason haha. they were doing a bit too much with all the sound effects, loading screens, and transitions through scenes, but i remember having a blast with this game.

is it just me or anybody noticed the police car door detached at 13:55

everytime this car shifts it sounds like its going through a voice crack

NFS carbon in PS2 looks bright but in other device looks so darker

im crying this need for speed oh my god i played need for speed ounderground and carbon and most wanted but the ps2 editons all need for speed ps2 editon i played them when i was 4 or 5

There isn't traffic jam on the road in ps2 version! It's a good thing for a good racing!

Why the hell did you mute the audio? Most of the music in Carbon is composed, you could just turn of all all non exclusive music in the ea trax :/

You wouldn't happen to know what would cause blurry vertical lines with a red tint during in-game racing? It only happens during actual gameplay the menu and cutscenes work fine, car selection is good too. The game runs at 100% 60 fps on my system. Am using similar settings to what you have posted besides having gs windows set to aggressive. Tired messing with the graphics setting but had no luck.

I have a strong grudge against this game after working hard to get our M3 GTR back it get destroyed once again EA put a nice icing on top by adding the truck out of nowhere

I like the driving in nfs heat more than this..these games are most definitely classics but nfs heat is now my favorite nfs game

I know it's a not the most common opinion, but this was probably my favourite NFS for the PS2 in terms of handling, I always felt Most Wanted to feel a bit on the heavy side, & Underground 1 & 2, the complete opposite, way too light, this game had the perfect line, you felt like you was driving a powerhouse, it drifted with ease but you could feel the weight there at the same time. Also it came out so close to the PS3 launch that alot of effort still went into the game, later PS2 games that shared ports with newer consoles tended to have that lazy half finished glorified mobile game feel to them, like Juiced 2 & the worst of all time Shaun White Snowboarding, go compare that PS2 game to its PS3 counterpart, man, it's insane, it's a wonder they weren't sued for that shit

I can hex edit that game for the PC, like adding darius' car in career mode or if you didn't get the pinkslip's making the boss cars in career... good times.

I don't get it, what's the point of using an emulator while you can get the pc version ?

Love this Game, as i play both PS2, and PS3 Games, the PS2 has More Colour use as the PS3 version seem tot have some sort of darker Filter, just Like Most Wanted 2005, only the PS2 has no rain effects, but seem to have better Lightning effects, there are still a few character Models Like the Grid Girl, and when you defeat them on Carbon Canyons, Both versions play verry well, on PS2 traffic gets disabled when getting into a Hot Pursuit, even PS2 has a Special Edition, worth checking out for Sure 😎

I would suggest DX9 HW is actually better for me for the most part. It fixes the graphical glitches...Also, set skipdraw to 2, 5, or 10
