Are you from Indonesia? If so, we are probably in the same generation. What I missed the most is the current feelings. I remember the first time I played NFSU2 and it feel so advanced. Now when I see it again, it still is. But then I realized it was over 10 years ago. Damn... Back in those days a '10 years gap' feels so old but this doesn't. It feels like yesterday. And yes I'm not a kid anymore... Good old days
Guys, I'm a young kid here and I've been interested of NFS lately. just finished Most Wanted couple weeks ago, and right now trying out Carbon. I'll try play the NFS games as much as I can :]
Good luck for you all who tried this game again and yes... I'm from Indonesia but i can speak English a little bit I didn't think I would come back here again, I also forgot that I commented here
"Play Underground 2" Me as a kid : lets put some gold paint, dragon vinyl, gold rims, blue spoiler, twin roof scoop, and gold exhaust Me now : nah just add black body paint
Carbon is the BOSS best story best cars best tuning ability first game to bring drift mode and the end of the story of the best character in the serie I call him claud speed Strong and silent 😎😎 without forgetting 2005 most wanted which was a legendary game too
3:25 This is where it all started for me. The Countach rocketing off still gives me chills. I love the more underground racing vibe the series went for after that, but for me this is what NFS was all about. Fast, exotic and dangerous cars, concept cars, prototype cars, but also the thrill of riding these vehicles you can only dream about owning.
First 10/2 mins, childhood restored. When there was nothing to worry about and where EA was not beginning to have the mentality that it currently has. NFS is not just underground or mw.
Even if mods exist they still won't be happy no matter what. They are waiting for consoles because they can't afford a damn basic PC. Even if it comes officially there still be people who will complain for the smallest detail that got messed up by mistake.
the intros that dug deep in my memories are: - most wanted (it's action-packed like in movies), - shift 2 unleashed (it's immersive and I feel the danger), - and the run (especially the bgm)
@@HeroManNick132 yep, legsolo really tryna make NFS undercover great again. And I really appreciate that. But EA loves to rush, and close down studios. It honeslty makes me so mad.
It was because EA wanted NFS to be released anually, despite got suggestion from Black Box that the Undercover need at least two years to be stable. But EA insists to split the NFS division of Black Box into two; half into Pro Street and the others into Undercover. After that failure, EA pointed to other studios to make their own version of franchise, until Ghost Games take over independently during development of NFS Rivals. Sadly, Sweden (which is the location of Ghost Games) don't have much talented racing games programmers as Canada (Black Box) and UK (Criterion Games).
@@govinlock8568 Also, the reason why it was used it was mostly according to Black Box is to capture and put better animations for the cutscenes like the QTE. But another bad thing it is nod mod-friendly engine.
90's, NFS, NFSII and NFSIII... I felt the game like a dream, near the super cars. We could see them, enter them, meet them, hear them ... Nothing compares to that.
@@deformedalbinogamingcat5854 idk, i just reviewed it for fun once, it seems that there were only 2 soundtracks without the one i described above. Naturally with the purchased version from Origin
NFS Porsche was the one which transformed the CGIs. Beautiful lens flare effects and country tracks. Underrated game. It was exotic to ride through generations of Porsche in career mode until the possession of latest GT version.
I loved how poetic rivals was, to truly challenge your friends. See who was better at everything. I'd you had beef it was settled in a 1v1. Or your bois vs everyone and everything. Ahh the days.
Played nfs 1 as a 11 year old dreaming of owning a sports car as an adult. This game motivated me to work hard in my life... Fast forward here I am, I have owned some Porsches and M cars. Now driving a Gt4 with Callista playing from the speakers.
I Love the NFS III: Hot Pursuit Intro, because it's a Classic and the First NFS I Started Playing on the Windows XP, the First Computer I grew up with!
I wonder how they filmed NFSMW (2005) and 26:45 is actually Need For Speed No Limits Edit: I am still playing Need For Speed undercover, Need For Speed most Wanted, need For Speed Underground
High stakes was my first one and also first introduction to racing games. Underground 2 was the one that made me a fan of the franchise and street racing as a whole. Most Wanted changed my life forever. Carbon enhanced what most wanted did. Undercover (The PS2 version that is), was really cool to me. ProStreet was a new one, but it grew on me after a few races. 2015 is still to this day the prettiest NFS game I've ever seen and Heat has my entire heart.♥️
Unpopular opinion: Undercover was good, janky physics yeah, the the sun was blinding, but it was good. Another unpopular opinion: Payback was the best game Ghost made in terms of story.
@@dalelumina3 The sense of progression was something unique and I didn't have any problems with SpeedCards. Unless I am playing online to enter the %1 in the world I never need the best parts in games.
My Top 3 Hot Pursuit 2 : That Diablo drift Never leave my eyes. Showing that the cop means business. Underground : The game that took NFS into the next level.Paved the way for later NFS. Showing that tuners can mean something. Not a bad logic called "ricing" Most Wanted 05 : Show the badassery of M3 GTR. The car that was the centerpiece. Marked as the most iconic car in the entire franchises. Symbol of "I fought the law" of NFS.
Most Wanted just hit different. Swapping between the cinematic perspective and eventually a split screen following two perspectives of the action of Mia and the Protagonist. The intense action almost makes you forget it's a racing game. This is how you know the main appeal is the cops. For real one of the best ones. Hot Pursuit 2 also felt right.
Mainstream Media: ViDeOs GaMEs cAuSe ReAL wOrLd ViOLeNcE NFS: make sure you do all racing in the game, *IN THE REAL WORLD* drive safely and responsibly, obey the laws of the road and always were your seatbelt
This is just my opinion but I think NFS Underground and Underground 2 are seriously overrated. Like, a lot. People tell you to play the game cause its so good, but when you play it yourself, its just boring. Same thing with all the other classic NFS. They are overrated and no one cares about the modern ones when EA put time and effort into it. Sure they make you pay for stuff but the modern games are good too!
CMON.. WHAT . WE .CAME .TO .DO .IS UPLIFT. YOU. SHIFT. THE. WhOLE .pARTY. aND. sTRAIGHT. LIFt .YOU. SDFASDFAFSDASD btw 23:20 is the most epic shit i ever seen
Both Underground 1 and 2 really ruined the community of this series. Nowaday if isn't called Underground 3 they'll throw shit at the game even before they can release it. I'm so sorry Ghost Games had to go because of those toxic people. NFS Heat may be full of bugs, but it was made with enough heart to be easily the best Need for Speed of the last 15 years.
@@thediamondcutter9185 Hopefully but you know how many nostalgia-tards and die-hard "fans" are there. Some of them don't know mods do exist that are actually pretty-well made like the NFS MW Pepega mod. But again these people who don't have PC and have consoles instead and rely on EA are the worst. I'm surprised how most people can't buy a basic (not that powerfeul but at least to run these games) but they Nooo they will wait for EA till they get it for PS4/PS5 or Xbox One/Xbox Series. Sometimes I REALLY hate the NFS community.
One on one 2 on one 3 on one Add one for fun Omg the memorial game And the best map is NFS Most wanted and Carbon Mia,Nikki,Razor, Cross,Darius, etc. Missing every game moment
Pretty nice, but the first Need for Speed actually had 3 intros. Just wondering why none of those compilations has all of them, just a randomly picked one.
In my opinion nothing can beat nfs 3 hot pursuit and high stakes. EA was on peak during those times and everything sort of died after hot pursuit 2010.
