To those who are currently playing NFS Heat - The ambient occlusion settings are broken, HBAO is the best setting to choose from and it doesn't make the tires look awkward ❤️
I was a huge fan of NFS when I was a kid and a teenager, but playing MW 2012 kind of killed my love for playing new NFS games, i would only play UG, UG2, MW and Carbon for years. I got back into NFS around this Christmas in 2023, Finished NFS 2015 and then Payback, and I finished NFS Heat around 2 weeks ago, and I still am playing it and I can’t move onto Unbound just yet. This game feels almost perfect to me, the night races feel as if I’m playing the underground series again if it was remastered, the cops actually pose a challenge, the handling is nice, IMO Heat is near that tier of Peak NFS, my only problem is that I play it on Series X and NFS Heat still has a problem of crashing during night races for no reason, but other than that I absolutely love this game
Don't play Unbound, you'll be severely disappointed. Do yourself a favour and stay with NFS Heat :) Heat is by far the best game of the recent NFS titles, besides NFS 2015. Payback and Unbound are probably the 2 worst games they ever released.
@LunaKurenai-bw9gs I couldn’t agree more, I don’t think this game will age at all to be honest some need for speeds do show their age however this one is just as fun to play today just like unbound 👍

@@McExige multiplayer ain't that great for technical reasons people rarely join your invites you rarely recieve invites worse I've been playing with a friend and sometimes we don't recieve the invites of each other for unknown reasons Also if you're unlucky you can get another player NOT in your race right on your track in the reverse direction with police cars on his tail, might be hard to avoid, particularly if he just flipped on his roof & respawns in your face because yes that's a thing..... Also need to hide from the police at night when waiting for people to fill your race otherwise the police will gladly cancel your race Which could be a feature I mean why not ? except it's just so much simpler to just launch IMMEDIATELY in solo race
ho and forgot to add, sometimes the servers restart forcing you to quit your night whether you like it or not (need to quit back to main menu & launch again)
i got the game last pandemic (2021) for my PS4 Pro Slim. i still playing it. i don’t have Unbound since it’s for PS5 only. my only issue in this game is lacking of Toyota other than that still enjoyable to play.
@ZGMFXGN0042 thats fairs and glad you are still playing it’s a great game I’ve done everything in that game so I play like once a year now if that but yeh and I agree would of been cool to have the supra in that game. I sadly also don’t have unbound that’s why I don’t really make videos on it could make news videos but wouldn’t make any sense since I don’t have the game 🤷♂️
I gave it a try and just finished this game and I can tell it would make more sense if those classic cars were derelicts and work hard to get them till the end of the game as long as they are the best in this game.
@Jayy_R2 just keep an eye on sales etc like Black Fridays and Christmas deals even when the new need for speed comes out check this one again as sometimes they’ll do a good deal or bundle of them
I enjoy this more than Unbound. If Unbound actually had night time during online play it would of had a better shot topping Heat for playability. In my opinion though Heat was just a more enjoyable experience all around.
got the game in december 2023 and its amazing. im about close to finishing the game (i think) but jeeez! the graphics and physics are kinda insane in this game. been looking into other games and tbh heat is probably my favourite. i was wanting to try need for speed unbound but... ive seen people play it and uhhh.. its a whole other dimension bro. (if yk what i mean, yk what i mean)
Glad you enjoyed NFS Heat and yeh your so right bro, NFS unbound is just weird especially like leveling up and the fact you basically have to do it all again online etc.
I downloaded it on PS5 after trying Unbound (both were with psplus) and have to say Heat is more fun then Unbound so far. I even think Heat looks better then Unbound, especially in Nighttime (besides the 30fps ofc), dont know if its the artstyle or the Neon City, it just looks better imo
Rsr ruins this game in online, nobody cares about this game except if it has a rsr in it.. It's a good/great game that gets overshadowed by a griefer car that plagues every single lobby

I unfortunately couldn't get into this over the fact that the graphic filter had this weird dark tint to it like a lot of EA games now. I don't know why but that filter bothers me so much. I went with the crew 2 which is very bright and vibrant in color
i still play nfs heat today because it's a good enough game to keep playing but too bad ghost games closed down and didn't get anymore dlc content to keep it going but people see patental in it and has value.
Legit it’s true, ghost just closed themselves off way too soon. I’ll be real NFS to me personally will die off slowly because there’s nothing now that’s new or creative
I got this game as one of the first for my ps5 last christmas alongside ea fc 24 (i got it on sale dont judge me) and ive gotta say its really really solid, the night roaming in general is the most intense thing ever if youve got heat level 3 and i spend way longer than i should just customising my cars. Story is kinda weird, they want you to believe the cops are the villains for literally doing their job but i actually thought the characters had at least some effort put on them. I wanna try out Unbound but i doubt itll be this good.

Heat night raceses awsome but after 50 level get pointless after reach a 50 level game geting waste of time and day races is boring soundtrack terrible its a sad think because heat is best nfs game all of the series but can be better
I get what you mean, there’s nothing to chase once you’ve done pretty much everything this is someone speaking from experience I’ve done this game 100% completion and got my platinum, hosted many car meets in the past after that there was nothing to look forward to really hence why I stopped still a good game but the game does have a “I’ve done everything what now” type vibe

Ooof I’m a Forza fan boy even tho I never owned Forza but honestly this and Forza personally two seperate leagues difficult to compare I’ll be real. 2024 worth it for sure and if you have steam the amount of mods bro is insane 👌

@@McExige yes very true. Sadly I play on Xbox but there are probably other ways and it may be cross play in regard to PS and Xbox but if not I can always admire it in this video. And yes surprisingly fresh for 2019. Graphics are alright they could make some stuff better but that is what shows it progress in 2019. Funny cause I started playing NFS 2015 and heat was a very cool turn graphic wise but 2015 was wild for it's time. Very good.
