Need For Speed Rivals Soundtrack: Hideout Theme (Extended Full Version) Hideout / Command post music NFS Rivals Hideout music extracted directly from the game (Need For Speed Rivals OST)
This song is a reflection on how intense and serious this situation would be in real life; Which running from the law in million dollar sports cars is a way of life and any high speed chase or race may well be your last.
This theme can be well applied to anything that deals with something really serious, that is about to happen... This has a vibe about someone who has long forgotten his dreadful past but now some disastrous events occur that force him to re ignite that flame of vengeance that he thought he had extinguished so long ago... Now he must prepare for the upcoming battle... A battle he knows he will win... A battle which will decimate his enemies... But it will also be a battle that might take away the last shred of humanity he may have left... Tell me how u like this one... I always felt like this music hinted to someones story... It could be like this : A former street racer retires because he finds the love of his life and starts his happy family... But then one day as he is taking his daughter and wife to a nearby mall they get into an accident with a few street racers... His wife and daughter are killed... But he survives... And now he works for the police department... Eventually he apprehends even the most evasive racers but then he learns that it was the corrupt police captain who arranged the accident that killed his family, so that he could be used to wipe out the competition for a Gang lord, who now has the whole control of the racing world... So then this music kicks in... As now he knows the real truth and he is going to make each and everyone involved in the accident pay for it...
That sounds like a movie plot. Maybe it could be called; "Rivals: A NFS Movie". Also I'd probably change them going to a mall to them going to The Pier down in Gullwing Drive. And I think that a version with a more hyped up beginning could be used at the end right before it cuts to black to let the credits roll, then continue throughout them.
Bro this was literally because I watched "THE PUNISHER" just before this... And kinda added NFS into the mix... 🤣🤣🤣 U don't want to mess with his story do u...
Fantom ıf only they release the freeroam mode...many people cracked the game in order to enter free roam but they dont share it due to the ‘legal problems’.

I'm addicted to this soundtrack. You are resting in the hideout but you never really rest, there is an all out war in the whole town. Playing as racer in NFS Rivals is the closest thing we get to play as terrorist in NFS I think.
In perspective of police: you are having a break in a Command Post, but you really cannot fully savor the sweetness of your donut; racers are constantly causing havoc in the whole town.

I still play Rivals to this day, and I've had it since the release on PS4 near the end of 2013. I'd say it's still the best NFS game available for next gen consoles, and was a great sequel to Hot Pursuit (2010).
We are the end of your freedom, i will run, we are unshackled, ill never stop, ill run, ill chase u, we will break you, ur our target. You Are My *Rival.*
This game was so intense like the run was. they just deliver that epicness that future NFS games don't do anymore..they just play some silly soundtrack in the background while your being chased by cops that crash into walls like idiots and fail to catch up to you
i have heard this theme on loop well into the millions of times ive heard this, and i still get that ominous feeling this song gave me the first time i heard it. fits with the whole "war between freedom and authority"

Man I remember playing this game so long ago! I always thought the theme was from a battle movie scene. Here I am growing up and still playing this masterpiece to this day!
@@prototypebatteryacid110 and they used frostbite 3 since rivals and frostbite 3 is actually good but they had just only 6 months and.... for 6 months is rivals a good game
We are unbound, free, unshackled. We push the limits in the most powerful cars. Cars we don't pay for. We go where we want, when we want,as fast we want.

The last nfs game before the series plunged into mediocrity. Rivals tone and feel is much different than most other nfs games, or even racing games in general. Some may see it as overly dark, or needlessly edgy, but I don’t consider that being a bad thing in this case. It has such a striking atmosphere. You’re risking your life in some of the fastest cars in the world. Going up against ruthless cops who abuse the system, and are willing to go to great lengths to take you down. The stakes are higher than ever. While it’s story could’ve and should’ve been more fleshed out, I still think Rivals did things very well. It took the formula set by Hot Pursuit 2010, and pushed it further, and it’s still one of my personal favorites, even if it’s not a perfect game.
The reason HP2010 and Rivals were so good is Criterion developers worked one those 2. I'm talking about actual Burnout devs, before Criterion imploded and all the talented Burnout guys left Ghost games and Criterion. But you're right and i agree, all NFS titles after Rivals were pretty meh thus far.
To all NFS rivals players watch out for the black skulls they are a squad with black cars and black rims with a skull on the side they take out cops online so racers can race without trouble iv seen it and they are big racers will be glad the black skulls arrive only for PS3
I totally love this music. An upbeat remix of this song should have been the cop pursuit song in the game, just like "The Mann" was for NFS Most Wanted
Are they ever gonna realese a game like this, forget the online only part, this game was intense, to be honest the few lobbys that I actually can find are much more fun than the new nfs games, they are basically Need for Customization games now, they focus more on the looks than the actual game
We probably won't get an NFS game as good as this one in a very long time. The reason this game was so good is because it was developed by mostly Criterion Games devs, the Burnout makers. And they're all gone from EA now.
@@TEDO02 I mean it's pretty clear that EA has just been rehashing the games over and over again, add a new filter, add some cringe effects and characters; I was so disappointed by Unbound tbh. Heat was ok though.
@RelentlessKnight I just got the nfs unbound it's pretty mehh to be honest the car list is exactly the same with maybe 5 new cars, that's also something that bothers me A lot the last 4 nfs games all have the same car list.
Bruh there's just something about the Guitar riffs that make you feel like a badass , especially whilst your looking at your car...knowing that your gonna unleash hell as soon as you leave your hideout.
It’s incredible thinking that this game is from 2013 I loved the cars, the map,the realism, the police with improved AI and of course the soundtrack awesome game
Yes,I guess in my opinion cuz the map is much more open than in forza, you have the upgrades as turbo etc and u can be a cop but anyway just personal opinion
