THANK YOU SO MUCH for the video, I always wanted to replicate the paint jobs from this game in NFS Heat, but I couldn't find good references for specifics paints, so this helped a lot.
Well, most of them are the same car but different Tier variation with different performance and kit, and edition which is a throwback to their very first NFS - HP 2 for PS2. But most of them were unlocked during Autolog recommendations and Multiplayer but nowadays it's impossible since the servers shut down in 2021, even though partually it was restored with LAN multiplayer despite the Autolog servers no longer work and the matchmaking.
I absolutely wish this game had a custom event mode, a strict and fixed challenge series doesn't cut it at all. Thankfully you can change the cars using cheat engine.
I really love this game - good story - good number of cars - good gameplay - good soundtrack - good Challenge Series - good online (currently closed) - good atmosphere - well designed tracks - nothing from an empty world Really for me this is the last good Need for Speed
@@Masterchief0181 Even if people hated QTE I would say they added something refreshing to the franchise. And probably we'll never get this again, since knowing there is very likely we won't get The Run 2, since NFS franchise is stuck with the same formula as UG1-2/MW 2005/Carbon. The franchise became so stale and tbh it will be good if they return at some point.
The multiplayer servers are partually restored (the playlists at least are and the progression there) but the Autolog servers are still down and it has no matchmatching since the EA servers shut down and now there is only LAN network multiplayer.
Honestly I cant believe I was able to complete the entire italian playlists before the servers shut down. Lol The cars missing are the NFS edition Alfa 8C, Diablo SV, Lancia Stratos, Gran Turismo S, and the Alfa 8C Serpent Edition.
Because: 1. You either play on PC where this car was added in the 1.1 patch for PS3, Xbox 360 version only. 2. You haven't unlocked it when the Weekly playlists were available back then in 2012. 3. Perhaps you have the console version but you are playing with the 1.0 version instead of 1.1.
@@JustforFun132a.k.aNickjackHero yea I know that it was recorded from actual consoles via capture card. thing is most games on real hardware runs at unstable framerates. idk I'm just making this up for no reason so I'll just shut myself up for that
If there’s one thing I don’t miss from the mid 2000s it’s the horrendous ricer culture. This game was the point where nfs finally moved away from that crap and we got actual beautiful machine parts. The modern day has some ugly ass designs too like extreme camber and bumper deletes. I think this era was prolly the best in terms of car culture and customization.
