I don't know why you would think BlackBox is classic by any definition. Nor are their stickers with wheels anything close to the kind of fun the actual original creators gave us.. One thing's for sure Criterion's games expect you to 1) Have a love for beautiful cars in a beautiful world 2) Wreaking unrelenting havoc (avoiding those epic & humiliating crashes). Kinda the point of having exotic cars at the mercy of your controller. And I think Criterion's been at it longer than BB too..

BlackBox wasn't original developer of NFS series, it was EA Canada (All the way from Road & Track Presents: The Need For Speed to Porsche Unleashed/2000) First NFS which were developed by Black Box was Hot Pursuit 2.

because the cars are already fast and if you played hot pursuit you would realize that customizing is not required for any car

well they made the new hot pursuit more like like hot pursuit 2. (the gameplay) BlackBox are good at doing an arcade racing game with story.

They way BlackBox make Need For Speed games is classic :) Criterion's NFS Titles are just nothing compared to the original creators :)
