Multiplayer could use some work in actually finding people that wants to race Timeline: 0:00 - Drifter's Delight w/ Evo IX 2:52 - Blue Collar w/ R34 GTR 5:47 - Track Day Special w/ Evo IX 8:37 - Factory Record w/ Evo IX 11:16 - Windy City Sprint w/ Impreza WRX STI
@@xsmockjrx I wonder if it's cross platform multiplayer from the get go. I haven't gotten the game yet, and maybe not a lot of others have as well. Could be still just be playing career and not doing online. Not sure if I wanna get the PS5 version or PC, heat ran fine on my pc so it'll prob be ok as well. Edit: ok it is cross platform, i noticed the icons for ps and xbox and pc
Intense my f'ing ass bruh. It's a mediocre NFS game with anime characters and effects which you can't turn off. They brought back an OG dev and this what they made? Pathetic for me. The racing feels slow without bringing any "nostalgia" at all. The originals were the best and now are just a lifeless, without passion, money grabbing games like most of them out there.
@@MikeTheGreek You played it whatsoever? The cel-shaded characters and effects are a art direction choice, makes the game stand apart. It's beating the past 15 years of NFS in ratings easily. And I can see why, It's simply hella fun. As much as the old games from the golden era of BlackBox. And nostalgia is not why they make new games, if you want "nostalgia", no one's stoppin you from playing the old games. The handling model is the best it's been like, ever. Heat was a cash grab. This one ain't. The fact they stood with their controversial decision to keep the artstyle proves that. So thanks for your opinion, but you're absolutely mistaken 'bruh'.
@@damnsonalabanca420 meh get a better opinion, Forza *ahem*, lacks customization, falls short with their paint and wrap system, has almost no story at all, (I don't count that campaign it was literally $money and fame the musical) has hoover/Dyson vacuum cleaner engine sounds, and the multiplayer racing was full of bullshit meta vehicles like the boneshaker or hell even the fucking Merc amg which caused it to either be boring or bullshit, there was zero progression since they just started handing money out to people, like a went from 100,000 to 10,000,000 in about 2 weeks from Forza hub and my paints. Also the player customization was booty cheeks I'll give it credit to the map and soundtrack (I prevail, marshmallow, Starset,) but that's kinda it
What i love about Unbound multiplayer is the class system. Having multiple classes implies that you have to build the best possible vehicle for each class.. unlike in heat, where you just went for everything ultra+ and shred everybody. and building takes time. And time spent on the game means it becomes memorable
Yea seems like a lot of the guys I raced were trying to be respectful, was just a bit hectic sometimes with all the boosting and lines crossing with both grip and brake to drift
From all the NFS..I'm having the most fun so far in the online race. Gotta say I had some texture glitches but at least they were funny. They gotta balance some cars tho.. the game favor a lot AWD cars..in RWD car at S+ on highway, 1 touch of the stick send you flying to the side lol.
11:57 yeah thats criterion alright. Haven't played the game yet but i do know criterions classic crashing into a car and launching into the stratosphere and into the 5th dimension
Really digged the NFS Carbon tracks. You got a list of which ones you played by any chance? A couple of them really took me back. Also sick driving! Especially against that Charger.
@@IsuckAtDrivingplease keep using them as Carbon had the best music! Made races feel so mature and tense! Is there a mod to replace the race music and pursuit music with Carbon’s?
I have to say, the Factory Record run was EPIC!!! Just this visage of cars barrelling down a highway weaving between traffic while the absolute MENACING Carbon track playing in the background... Bwahahahaha, sends shivers down one's spine! EDIT: But Windy City Sprint was just wacky I mean wtf happened here xD 11:58
Jesus I was so excited for a second thinking they brought back some of the Carbon tracks but then I realized you replaced it in post cause of the copyrighted music cx
No, it's edited in. Honestly, I do wish music from past NFS games such as Carbon appeared in this game as a proper easter egg, maybe as the music that would play during some kind of "Streamer Mode".
I dont know why, sometime NFS UB gameplay looks like similiar with NFS NL without cartoon effect. The track, traffic, soundeffect, engaging NOS etc looks like familiar for NFS NL player.
Goddamn, 7 YEARS and they finally fixed the goddamn net coding for multiplayer! And proper lobbies now? I was so pissed when Heat got abandoned, it had no actual multiplayer lobbies and that game was on the verge of greatness. I might actually buy this game now
I'm noticing that this game favors AWD vehicles in most tiers besides S and S+. MR cars need a lot of precise tuning to ensure you don't have massive understeer into Snap oversteer, and usually favor Grip builds. This gives hope that the RSR may hopefully not be the king for 7 years running.
@@Z3R0_H3R0 I hear you. I tuned quite a few cars in heat and eventually found how to make everything grip with some unorthodox parts. Unbound I guess makes it a bit easier. Still the extra effects aren’t for me. Heat could’ve been great if they just never made drifting a main focus in the game where it’s impossible to pull off clean drifts due to arcade physics.
@@RealAnthonyJones I know what you mean. Brake 2 drift was never for me, I'd rather find that perfect line than just drift around a corner at +160mph. Luckily unbound eliminates 90% of brake to drift. The game could do without those effects though.
The only issue I find is finding races. No one wants to race in B tier or A tier. It's very hard to find people there. I hope it had a system where you can just put yourself in a queue instead of relying on a 16 player lobby who are half of the time racing already.
This is HIGH DEFINTION Nintendo. If they made a racing game. SICK. Timeless. You can look at this in 20 years and have no problem with the graphics, gameplay, artstyle. I'm not a a big car/racer guy but I am going to go for this.
I am only at first race but that Evo looks slow af, you are going 100-160kmh on mountain road and it looks like you are going barely above speed limit.
I thought they said speedlists were coming back. Do you have to sit and wait for people to accept your invite like Heat? If so, that's very disappointing.
@@gamingeuphoria7928 You misunderstood my comment. I was asking if you had to invite people like NFS Heat. The speedlists i was referring to were the ones from Payback.
Kind of annoying that online races can only be done with real players. 70% of the time I couldn't get anyone to accept the race so I can imagine how bad this will be when the game is less popular. I miss NFS Heat's AI races and heat chases online :(
I don't understand why they keep making same NFS 2015 again and again. It may look fun and beautiful but car physics are terrible for me. Look like cars are just glued to the road. Even Need for Speed Rivals (2013) had slightly better physics. Forza Horizon and Most Wanted 2005 nailed it.
@@Thunderlord_Tozn I’m literally playing the game right now. Your other comment said you don’t even have the game. Why lie about a game you haven’t played?
