Canyon Duel from Carbon and Highway Battle from Undercover are easily my favorite race events. Both are challenging and will tighten your ass. On one race you have to chase your opponent while trying to avoid falling to the cliff, and on the other race you have to chase your opponent while trying to avoid other cars that are blocking your way. It's just so fun and really testing your skill. Really wish to see both back in future NFS games and race against other players but it's probably not gonna happen and knowing random players they would definitely ram your car over and over
Something like this already exists in NFS Hot Pursuit, called interceptor mode. You can play with another person online but it’s really a 50/50 chance whether they’ll play fair or “ice skate” (constantly trying to juke you with aggressive donuts and all that so they can make a run and steal an easy win).
to be honest there's a very easy solution to ramming that was solved in Carbon, make the leader car inmovable in Canyon races and in Highway races both of them inmovable
@@FrankHeffleyOnYT isn't that the main way to win interceptors? It's a psychological game, that's why the jammer and usage of headlights are so prominent in the mode.
@@BestBoiFu In fact, the video isn't even true, there's 2 different themes. If you're interested, fun fact : For the second theme, there's the loop, which is also considered the beginning of the music, the ending, a section of 10 blocks i'm still not sure what it does ... And sections of 2 blocks with 3 variants of intensity, for a total of 6 blocks. I believe that for those, it's supposed to change the intensity depending on how close you are to your opponent just like canyon duels in Carbon. So in theory, if you keep the same distance the whole race, the song should skip all the other " intensities ", making a little loop of music.
Canyon battles and Highway battles has got to be the most unique and fun racing experience in the NFS franchise by far That's why I still have a soft spot for Undercover, even though I still don't like the game and I still acknowledge it being bad, but at times I do find myself enjoying the game
If the Highway Battles involved more than 2 cars and it lasted for like 10 minutes or something, it would be a lot more engaging. With this theme, it would be perfect...
Tiene buenos temas que me gustan en particular deberían sacar una ultimo versión mas o menos con la misma maniobrabilidad al momento de conducir los autos buenos temas aunque, moderno claro.
Its like they recycled the same song from nfs carbon dont get me wrong i like this game for what it is and what it has to offer this game is one of the most misunderstood games in the franchise i find lots of enjoyment i first played sometime when i was in middle school on the wii loved it ever sense in my opinion all the nfs games are great but look at it however you want i honestly dont care
When you are chased and there is police teachers and students on your tail then FBI OPEN UP helicopters start flying in all because you did not do your work.
