Believe me or not but when i was 6 years old and this intro popped on the screen, i felt like i'm about to become street legend. It's hard to accept that this game is 20 years old.
yep that was my first pc game in my first pc when i was kid he was verry week pc but that was my first game on him i still remember it it was amazing childhood for me too
The most incredible thing is that in 2003, for us, these graphics were pure relism, but today this game has aged very well, the classic Need For Speed Underground
Phillip Gallagher It is one of the best! Also: take a look at Gran Turismo 5's intro 1.0 and 2.0 :D PS: Yes, this part is just INTENSE; I mean the last stage of transforming a regular car into a piece of art, underlined with epic music! HELL YEAH!!!
The sound of that 4G63 engine always gave me chills. ever since I got this game on my 7th birthday i'd always watch the intro. Now I'm 17 and it still gives me chills.
The most 2000's racing game ever. Also, the game that started NFS customization mechanics and introduced performance upgrade that made what NFS is today. Wish they could make it like this again. ProStreet was almost the closest thing to a new Underground.
In the name of god and anything holy, dont ever say again that this master fuckingpiece is what made nfs today, because those soulless and greedy for our cash games full with stupid DLC's have nothing to do with this golden era we just saw. To get me right, i want u to watch the video again, feel how much work, heart and soul was put in this game, then watch few clips of payback, heat and the nonsense named unbound. I hope you and everyone who happens to read this reply get the point of this comment
i remember when i was younger i played this on my dads old xbox abseloutely loved the game. tho my english was pretty bad around that time.. so i dont know how but i accidently deleted all his progress. he wasent too happy about it 😂
Got tears by watching this legendary intro... So good memories of this game NOT running on my PC... I watched the intro so many times just to get on a worked menu and the game crashing... Memories!!!
The word "good" is not enough to describe Need For Speed Underground. It's everyone's childhood game and it's memory lives on inside us. In my opinion, the best Need for Speed game ever made. ❤️
This game and the other old NFS"s had gotten me into becoming a racing game fan, I remember getting this game back in 2004, it was sooo awesome, i recently reinstalled this game on my computer after not playing it for 4 years. This game still kicks ass 14 years later
I love how they took so much from 2 fast 2 furious in this intro with the supra & bridge jump. This intro puts a smile on my face from nostalgia :) The underground series was the high point of the NFS series with Most Wanted being the peak and Carbon the last good one. I miss good ol NFS :(
Most Wanted was good but the tuning was not really good.. no layers, not that much of vinyls.. i mostly drove the blacklist cars when i got the pink slip
The car customization in Most Wanted 2005 is definitely a huge step down from Underground 2. I guess with the whole strike and impound system, cars were meant to be more disposable than previous games, and they didn't think players would care to customize their car for three hours only to get busted a few times and lose it, so they severely dumbed down the customization options. I GUESS is the rationale behind that. Though how on Earth EA didn't anticipate players just restarting from last save, or just turning the console off and back on to keep their cars, I will never know. It would have massively been nice to have individual bumpers and stuff, headlights/taillights, and especially layering vinyls. They DID at least expand more on that in Carbon, but it was still nowhere near Underground 2 levels of customization.
The amount of goosebumps I still get after this video it’s just INSANE. EA wtf can’t you just understand how profitable would a new underground be? Put some late ‘90 electro metal tracks, old/cheap cars to tune, and there it is. Underground 3. Money.
back when you can be a ricer and not judged by many. being born in 2002 I didn't get to experience any of the car culture at the time but man back then cars were amazing and wild looking
Ok to be clear. This Intro Song is a mix between "Overseer - Supermoves" and "BT -Kimosabe". The "Overseer - Supermoves" part was from the Beta Opening. Thats why ;)
Stan Torren It's not EA's fault, it's the critics' faults for our new games because all they care about is destroying a franchise and putting companies into debt, so it's no wonder why they need money.
EA 2000's= Challenge Everything EA 2010's= Charge for everything EA 2020=....Apex Legends had been a success and NFS Heat will be an instant classic so maybe the're challenging everythimg again.
That EA Games Challenge Everything intro was from the best days! It is featured in one of my favorite games like Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets for PS1! Man those were AMAZING days!
I wish EA would quit with all the super cars and police chases and go back to what they're good at, THIS! I played this game for hours and hours when it came out, it's part of my childhood! If they even just brought out this game just redone with Xbox One graphics it would be absolutely amazing. There's no games like this anymore, this game had a real fast & furious feel to it. I miss it :')
Its The Fast and The Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious mixed together, and its done very well, with touch of Ea, I like it. Parts from The Fast And The Furious, Mitsubishi Eclipse 1994 body style. Both movies had street racing in the city. Parts from 2 Fast 2 Furious, The gold Toyota Supra, and the driver skidding out before the bridge, The bridge jumping, the bridge landing, and the drift / power slide in the end. Paul walker raced in both movies, and hes blonde. Ea added a blonde girl driver in the intro of this video for NFS Underground.
I was in high school when this trailer first came out- we waited almost one hour for the two minute long trailer video to load (as was the speed of the internet back then)... We nearly wet ourselves when we first watched it. Had never seen anything like it up to that point.
ДААА! ВОТ ЭТО ПУШКА!! Интро огонь как и тогда в в 2004 году когда я играл)) ГОСПОДИ, какой мир мы просрали.... мир лучших игр, лучших фильмов, лучшей музыки...
such a classic when i saw the intro for the 1st time when i started my game it was amazing and now when i saw it for so many countless times it still is Amazing
marc de vellis's words always ring in my head like a bell whenever I think about doing something dumb in a car. Those words have kept me safe and alive and from hurting others by accident.
I remember this trailer as a kid being showed on ever TV in every damn game shop I walked into and it's stuck with me. This car is absolutely gorgeous in that wrap. How the sound changes and everything its amazing
I dont know why but i keep coming back over here its been a decade and i am so young that my watching of a video is the only consistent thing in my life
Back when you the intro the to game mattered! When I got new games back in the day I was excited about the game itself sure but I was always slightly more excited to experience the game’s intro for the first time. It was like the intro not just set the tone for the game, watching the intro created the world for that game before you even played it. Miss intros like this.
