It’s not always on a parent. We forget kids are human as well. They have their own emotions and feelings. At some point, even as a child, you have to learn self control. Whooping them is not always teaching a lesson. Remember that.

The refs job is to ENFORCE the rules of the game. Not let a penalty slide for a pep talk. If I’m the coach of the orange team I’m salty it wasn’t 15 yards.

@@captainmorgan3925idk if I really have to explain this to you but teaching kids to be humble and not be a holes to each other is a lot more valuable than a penalty in a 9 year old’s football game. The kid’s parents are lucky he has someone who cares because it would be easy for the guy to completely ignore them he ain’t getting paid shit for reffing.

@@josephmother2659 idk if I really have to explain to that throwing a flag teaches the same lesson without teaching them there aren’t repercussions for bad behavior. Kids don’t need to be coddled. Rules and penalties exist for a reason. The problem with our society is too many kids are raised by people like you who think making them feel good is better for them than teaching them right from wrong and tough lessons like breaking rules has consequences.
