This is SO helpful! I'm just starting out and I learned so much. What are your thoughts about knotting wood to start rather than starting in a roll? And is it possible to put felting wool over an armature of crumpled up newspaper covered with a layer of felt? I'm hoping not to use so much felting wool for a bigger project. And can you put merino wool over this english wool?

Hi, I have literally just started felting, I watched lots of videos and have found yours so easy to follow and had brilliant results so many thanks. Am about to start a sitting cat, a variation on your hare. . Like you am in lincs, lincoln actually. So great to have a local teacher. How can i tell what needles i have the package is not marked sre there markings on the needle iself like sewing needles? Thank you. I cant wait to try your bird pstterns thanks for publishing them.
