Although I starred in this movie, I sometime for get that, that's me. It's strange to see myself in a hmong movie now. It has been a long time since I did this movie. Now I am old, it's hard to look back and watch myself. Since this movie, I've only seen Pov once. Life has taken us in our own life journey. This is one of the best modern Hmong movie in the late 80s and early 90s. This was filmed and came out when I was born. Should be 35 year now. Grow up watching it because I was related to the main actor. Never knew until my parents told me. But this video and I are the same age. Will always love watching this for it was always a part of my babyhood and childhood.
One of the best Hmong USA movies ever made...Hated how fast the hubby moved on without even seeking proof that it was truly him! I would've just frankly tell him the truth!

I was in elementary when these 90s movies came out. Still enjoy them today. I used to live in an apartment complex across from the lady who plays the mom. I think she was a producer of this film. I saw the male lead at the complex once when I was a kid. It was exciting for my little kid brain, seeing someone from the movies IRL 😆

Watched this movie when I was 13 and thought the ending was good. Now that I look back, the ending is common among Hmong women, taking back a cheater. I hope that our Hmong sisters are no longer accepting the life of polygamy.
