I have no respect for people who defend family members that do horrible things that are CLEARLY wrong. They should all get punished too for supporting that behavior. The Hmong community needs to change that mindset. Family is family but wrong is wrong, esp this kind of thing.

It's story like this that breaks my heart for the young girl. She is the real victim who cannot speak for herself. It makes my furious that his family is defending him and cursing her and her daughter. So do they think it's right for their brother or son to do something horrific to someone else's child. He didn't kill her but scared her for the rest of her life still as bad. I hope karma comes back to the husband's family so they know how painful it is when one of their child is hurt.

She is traumatized and will probably suffer from PTSD, so stay strong for her and she may need professional support/ therapy.
