I was an avid reader of your answers on quora. None could have emphasised the importance of Katzung, Robbins and Guyton better than you.First aid was cherry on the cake. Thank you for guiding me sir I got AIR 196 NEETPG22
Bhaiya your speaking skills are great plz make a video on how we can improve our English speaking skills like you....I think I am fan of your voice too
Sir , i want to prepare for inicet , please guide me. I am a constant repeater , everyone lost hope on me but i somehow don't wanna accept this failure
After a long time i had seen someone who is inspiring and also not telling to forget to live the life. Everyone is about being competitive....be on your toes....no one is talking about the mental pressure or how to conquer the personal problems.... Thankyu for the video
every one just talks about rankers but no body really cares about people who didnt make it. Thank you for guiding us nd for giving us hope.I really cant thank u enough for this video.
Thanks for for making such awesome content sir..would like to request you to make a video exclusively for anesthesia as a branch and its future ..you're doing a great job 👏
If you could share yours or Abhinav sir's insight regarding this it would be helpful sir. This is a conversation i had with a final year nuclear medicine resident I will try to explain you the bigger picture what's going on behind the scenes. From the outside it's all looking cool and chilled branch but it's only a matter of time. Idk if you are aware about this but India has more or less started copying USA in terms of overall healthcare system. Right from insurance policies to residencies. Because look, in USA their are direct residencies for NeuroSx, CardiothoracicSx, Plastic Sx ... previously India didn't have direct residencies so India also implemented the same via DNB directly 6 years course which is exactly same like USA. The same is being happened with nuclear medicine. India introduced direct branch as a residency but there are a lot of short coming and we realised it so now even DNB seats have reduced, infact even secondary DNB seats are now available only in 4 hospitals. Previously INMAS had DNB seats and it's the only standalone institute in Delhi but to everyone's shock they no longer have nuclear medicine DNB seats. Now the picture is changing to lot of artificial intelligence and automation technologies so manpower required in diagnostic branches is decreasing drastically. Radiology people are more skilled with anatomy obviously and also with anomalies so now radiologists with fellowships in nuclear medicine are really great in demand. infact many radiologists who completed their residency even 4-5 years back are going outside india to do the fellowship if not getting it in india because very few hospitals in india are offering nuclear medicine fellowship post radiology at present but within 2 years the number is easily going to double or more because of increasing awareness and importance of radiology + nuclear medicine combination and plus in fellowship they will get low paid work force for 6 months to 1 year. And this in entirety is the exact picture of Radiology residency in USA where there is 3 years of radiology residency & in addition compulsory 1 year of nuclear medicine posting. It's just a matter of a few years when nuclear medicine physician is going to be just a requirement for opening a PET centre and will stay on a basic pay whereas the majority of work and procedures will be carried out but radiology + nuclear medicine people and they will have a huge payscale. Infact, even now when we do PET-CT guided biopsy, we call a radiologist to guide the position and all. It's really stupid that Nuclear Medicine cut-off has gone so up in recent years because people have just observed the branch superficially. I got nuclear medicine at approx. 16,000 because 4 years back nothing much was available at this rank. Remember that you are not just looking at the 3 years of residency and 2 years of SRship. You need to think about the 30 years after SRship. Even now if you check online, you will see that job openings are very very few.
I got rank 104443 in my first attempt this year and have never felt so low in my life before. But i trust myself that i will work hard and be smart and will definitely do better than this in the upcoming examination. This is not the end of the tunnel for me it’s just the beginning and i am ready to be overwhelmed, tired , i am ready to dwell into the process of achieving my dream as much as i can.
Tysm sir. Grateful to u for normalisimg exm and removing fear of getting good ranks. Your adbice of first aid was so great. I got air 1526 in my frst atmmpt from a pvt medical clg.
Thank you ma'am for replying currently in 3 year in private. Ma'am I think you should people about your strategy of preparation. I think it would be useful for many other people.
Boss please make a detailed video on anaesthesia. It is a branch which is not at all explored by any aspirants as a first choice and we don't have a particularly great idea about it as interns.
I got a rank of 2420 . Thank you Dr.Gupta for the tips and tricks esp guiding for first aid ! Sir guide regarding the options available for radio at this rank.
I don't usually comment on the you tube, but @vaishali I had the same issue the branch I wanted my parents don't even consider it as being a doc. That was like a waste for them. I became a doctor not by my choice but by their choice. But trust me those 5 years gets difficult day by day, even after medicine being intresting it's a intense field, it's field with people who love it and do not mind working day and night, so anyone who lack the curiosity and choice part is at a hay, so just put your foot forward be like Angad, and just keep talking about the branch you want not that you want to take it, but like it's scope and why it is so good and how it interest you, slowly slowly my parents gave in, they might not be happy now, but they understand that is where my choice lies, so just keep bringing up in funny, intresting way, tell them you love them and tell them you love this. It worked out for me, they are convinced,by god's grace I got a decent rank, and will hopefull be doing something I like after 23 years of uninterested education
ENT-HNS is a very good branch , offering a blend of Medical and Surgical work. It gives great work life balance and job satisfaction. You get to treat a wide diversity of patients from newborns to elderly. You can earn a decent income and once you develop skills in a Niche area sky is the limit in terms of Financial success. Furthermore SS is not necessary you can easily do a Fellowship and settle. However those interested in persuing further Surgical training can do Superspeciality as well if needed.
Sir please make a video on PMR (physical medicine and rehabilitation) there is a lot of confusion about this branch. It will be super fruitful if you can make a video ASAP.
Govt jobs are underpaid Sir.. They pay even doctors equally to the slab of any other class one officer.. alongwith NPA.. It's always preferable to move abroad if you can afford it.. All the best..
I have a question Not even 12 hrs have passed since the NEET PG result came out and already Marrow, PrepLadder and DAMS have posted interviews with the first ranker saying she achieved this rank using our subscription and resources. How can this happen? I mean can’t she come out and say which damn subscription she used? So that people are not misled… Or is she paid so much to keep her mouth shut? That means she is misleading everyone just for money
Really interested in emergency medicine, but since it would be a little off beat career choice, I'm afraid that I may regret it later in life, please guide regarding MD and dnb emergency medicine, that would be a great help for me.
I am also interested in it but there is not much clarity about its scope in the future.. and here he says critical care medicine after anesthesia but I have seen emergency medicine paired with critical care in some places..
I didn't gave neet as my internship started this year.. but I wanna know about emergency medicine as very less is talked about this branch and I would like to know before hand so I can make proper decision
Hello sir, can you please tell what kind of exposure does big city UG colleges (except for Delhi and Bombay) give? Are you talking about better PG coaching, more patient load, or just better civic amenities?
Kindly let us know the future of hospital administration and spm for pg, their scope and future, especially hospital administration, there's no proper info. Pls pls reply @ Dr Aditya Gupta

Hello dr Aditya, which one of the AIIMS essence books by pritesh Singh is to be.bought? It's catalogue is very confusing and can you review that book? Or can you recommend any book for PYQ's?
Boss you didn't tell about work life balance in anaesthesia ... I want to do it but i also want work life balance. Just looking for reassurances from wherever i can get :(
Hi sir, you said the indications for radiotherapy are decreasing. Can you give an insight after 2 years of this video would you still say it’s the same? Would really love to have your opinion. Thank you.
Hello sir! Can you give an idea about taking MD SPM or MD health administration.. What it entails. Is the life after residency limited to phc/CHC or do we have good opportunities. As in research or DM..
Hi sir great fan of yours. Sir I got a rank of 11k last year , dropped but my rank deteriorated to 23k this year. I want to take anesthesia nd get out of the rat race this year. Parents want me to still take DNB og somewhere in counselling or prepare again. Ur advice?
Doc I don't think you should've promoted drugs.. it's still illegal no matter who consumes it and coming from a person whom I've always considered as an ideal senior is a bit shocking.. talking on a social media platform where everyone looks up to you is different from casually talking to your junior..
Not promoting drugs. See, me saying don’t do drugs won’t stop people who take alcohol/marijuana. If people enjoy that - this is the time to enjoy. Live and let live.
He meant it on a casual note (consider it more of an expression/euphemism to enjoy life along with studies). Also trust me half of the country goes there to smoke up. Nobody really cares. Marijuana doesn't cause physiological dependance. (No downregulation of cannibinoid receptors in brain is seen) And side effects like hemp insanity and running amock that we study in psychiatry are as rare as getting malignant hyperthermia from halothane and SCh. It's better to legalise it like Canada and US. As it's a game changer in palliative medicine Can reduce usage of opioids which are dependance causing in cancer and other terminal illnesses.
Can we do DM in infectious diseases after doing respiratory medicine? Cuz in official mcc notice they have given that infectious diseases can be done after doing pg in TB & chest . This is bit confusing.
Hello sir, my rank is 10k . I like medicine, but the fact that it is very hectic makes me doubt myself and I don't think I might get in good dnb colleges. Should I take md pulmonary medicine?
