Why at the highest point the vertical component of final velocity is zero ?

Because when a ball is thrown up at the highest point there is a momentary rest at an instant and then it comes down..so v=0m/s

I dont understand .when you are finding height you let (vy) is equal to (vsin0) is equal to (0) then in formula you put (vsin0) in place of zero
