One of my favorite things about Negan's character is how he's always presented as an optimistic jerk no matter what situation he's in. This makes his interactions with the cast that more fun.
Mannn that was epic ! Only thing missing would’ve been if he swung it back around for the follow up shot . But he ran out of bullets or either a gun jam 😂
@@alphaxan8175 There were only two people in that entire lineup who didn’t flinch at Negan. Negan killed one and the other immediately cold cocked him in the jaw
It’s absolutely amazing to me that, in the span of like 2-3 seasons, Negan went from a character I DETESTED (and desperately wanted to see him receive his comeuppance) to one of the only characters left that I cared about.
@@starwarsroo2448yes it's called being a man I don't have a friend where we haven't genuinely kicked TF out of each other with the intent to do damage opposite sides or not there's a mutual respect between Daryl and Negan bc they survived the same war
@user-hs7gu4br5v that's not being old friends that's just getting on with it. The story is dumb, people forgive, but when someone brutally mutilates your friend like that so his body doesn't even have a head, you're never going to be " old friends"
@@karthikkr7561 hopefully he starts appearing more in the next episodes. Seems like the next ones going to have him in it more. But at least we getting a whole show about him and maggie. Super hyped for that one
I know the context is different, but that time back in season 7 in the Sanctuary, Negan fake-swung his bat towards Daryl's face and Daryl didn't flinch
I’m with you, I wanted him dead the minute he killed glen and Abraham. But he slowly built his way up. He hadn’t been forgiven, but he is at least not the enemy this time
@@MasterHall117 true, I like that when he realized he couldn’t break Daryl into calling himself Negan he started at least seeing Daryl with more respect. Especially now that Daryl is essentially running Alexandria in the absence of Rick. Which is felt more and more each passing episode because he’s literally the best character this show had once they ditched all of the shit that could’ve been for Carl.
Spoiler Alert: Actually there was a time when they worked together, it was when they took down Beta, that's kinda impressive af I mean, Daryl handled Beta on his own before, but when Negan helped him, it was like a piece of cake. Beta is strong af, so Daryl and Negan tag team is OP
What i always find interesting is people like you who say he changed because he really didn't, he just picked a side that we as viewers consider to be better, but really if you compare this negan with negan how we meet him it's exactly the same but one of the 2 has no leadership role to feel and has more freedom with who he kills. Love negan because he seems to be the perfect balance between accepting that everyone around you is bad but look up to you, while also being the guy that if someone steps slightly out of bounds they're going to die.
@@loonyshots5879 he did change somewhat. he doesn't view fear as an effective motivator anymore since why he said he'd kill everyone in Rick's group if he had a chance to do things differently back then. he thought killing just two was a mercy and breaking their leader will make them obedient but now he knows better. plus, he doesn't think of ppl as resources anymore, he is seen being a part of the communities he is in and actually caring for people before anything else. they say he values his life more than other's but rly he is just more cautious not only of his life but the lives of others too. perhaps he wasn't as skilled in survival to go against horrible odds bc before his incarceration he always had a very strong security net around him
@@infinemyself5604 Idk I've always seen negans character at least in the show, as just a mask for the people in his group that are all bad guys for the most part, i see it as a way of showing his group that he's not afraid. I do believe what hes like after getting moved off his thrown is what he truly is, just that mask was thrown over his real self to keep his group in line.
@@infinemyself5604 bro it’s like trying to defend Jeffrey dahmer. It makes no difference what rationale the guy had, he fucking murdered people. And don’t give me this ‘it’s the apocalypse’ bullshit, the main group has been defined by their morale code, only killing when necessary. Carol literally cried as she had to kill someone because she was so sad about it. You can’t just come along and forget he murdered, enslaved, raped and tortured because he’s cool. It’s fucking stupid, Negan is a POS and idc how much the show likes him he deserved to die
I think of all the characters, Negan has the greatest story arc. It shows from the most recent episode…I have to say that Negan is my favorite WD character
Negan really gets back into his old self soooo well and fast! It's amazing to see JDM at work! Everyone says they are Negan, BUT there is only one Negan!!
If he killed Daryl here it would've been insanely stupid given he can't go back to the Whisperers, and Carol would've been extremely suspicious and probably end up killing him.
Daryl has his own spinoff called " The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon". Melissa McBride( CaroL) was originally going to start with him,but had another contract, she may join later.
Negans Character is so charismatic yet evil perfectly welled together I love how even while being serious he still manages to keep his humor even before he was incarcerated and was a main antagonist he was a character you have a love|hate relationship with great acting .
what i love about negan is we never know what is his intention, which side hes on, he just smile like he'll get someone back and turn out that someone is died
I’ve seen dozens of these walking dead fan edits and this is probably the second one I’ve enjoyed watching. First one was Rick being an absolute savage.
