To say that woman is an angel is an understatement. Those look of love from both those dogs tugs at my heart deeply. It's people like this woman that I pray I end up with in the afterlife. Her soul is blessed with lots of love. One can only hope and pray that she is reunited with all the dogs that came into her life.
Bear did do that - he opened this lovely beautiful lady's heart and knew she'd need another companion when he went over the Rainbow Bridge - and made sure Goldie was there to pick mama up when he went over.
This dog brings us to tears with joy to see how happy his new owner cared for him even if he was a little on the mature side...He looks almost like my dog I was gifted to care for almost 15 years... Unless you've truly loved a dog as a companion you can never fully understand the grief at their passing... They were very blessed to have each other for the time given before he passes away - but the happy memories live on to give us a smile when we need it the most...
: ) Loved this story and didn't those dogs have the most beautiful faces? Both of them angels and so was the lady who rescued them. Bless her. We adopt seniors too and it really is so rewarding.
The first two airedales we adopted were 9 1/2. They'd always been together... They were very rewarding.. huge fun... If you consider a senior dog, I can testify as to how rewarding they are.
You are awesome. That senior dog is so lucky to have you while he was alive. I have also adopted a senior dog who lived for 2 years. The previous owner had for 6 months. I wanted to be there for her, when she passed from cancerous tumor. To me you were there when he needed you the most. God bless.
You speak about Bear with tremendous love and passion. I find it so moving. He was adorable. His eyes spoke volumes and he just seemed as you say resilient. What an amazing little chap and I totally fell in love with him. You gave him a new lease on life and something to look forward to. You were both so deserving of each other. You’re an amazing person and I can only hope & pray that every senior dog ends up like Bear.🥰
15 years chained outside I wish the people who did this i could do it to them for 30 yes rest my friend enjoy your life you have left you deserve with nothing but love😭😭😭😭😭
@@rridderbusch518 sorry for your loss...but glad that she had such a long and good life. I dont plan to ever adopt again, but if I change my mind it will be an older animal from the shelter. Would want their golden years to be good ones...
@@starrschwering1787 Thanks, Starr. Her age didn't affect her sweet behavior much, just a bit more easy-going. She had 2 bad days, then was gone. If we weren't elderly we'd adopt a senior dog for sure!
Thats one terrific woman!!! She gave Bear a perfectly blissful last two years of his life. If there is a doggie Heaven, then old Bear would be looking down on that lovely woman, smiling in thanks for her kindness to him. She'll also give Goldie a fantastic final chapter to her life, and who's to say Bear's spirit DIDN'T send Goldie to her?!
Aaaaww 15 years chained up, I presume in all weathers, without love bless him. I am so glad he experienced two wonderful happy years with you he will alqays remember you in his heart as you do in yours. Goldie chained up for 8 years, I hope she will experience the same with you as Bear did, more people should adopt the seniors however sad and short it maybe, for them to experience a normal dog's life in a safe happy home. What needs to happen is STOP chaining dogs up it isn't a life for them it is a prison sentence!
People want nothing to do with older animals or older people .. it is sad 😔 They all get pushed to the side .. the dog gets put down and the old person gets put away into and old folks home … 😪🥺😪🥺 I am 70 and if l had more room l would love to adopt an older dog for company ..
