Love hearing the history of the Negro League! I hear the passion in your voice when talking about these GREAT legends! I'm excited to be showcasing the league & its players in upcoming videos ❤ Being here in Kansas City, we have such a rich history with the Negro League! Thanks for sharing
I just sent about a dozen personally autographed cards of this set to Huggins & Scott Auctions and they will be auctioned off in the upcoming Summer Auction beginning July 19th! Also sent in 300 autographed Topps Cards from the late 1950's and 1960's! My dad sent through the US Mail these cards to many players in the 1980's to be autographed and returned to him and he gave them to my brother and I. We enjoy graded Vintage Cards and will use the proceeds to add to our Graded Card collection! My dad also had amassed over 4,000 different baseball player autographed 4X6 index cards which we are also having auctioned off in the same auction! Keep an eye out for them....
I owned this set with 47different autographs including Willie Wells but sold it many years ago. It was put together by Buck O Neill trying to make money for the Negro League HOF in Kansas City.
