Learn to stand up for yourself is the school minigame/punch the neighbor ability, overcome crowd phobia is the shopping minigame/crouch to hide ability and overcome the fear of darkness is the cupboard minigame/double jump ability.

theres another glitch in the beginning while you are sleeping you wake up and need to grab your phone if you dont pickup the phone and actually go upstairs (you need to parcour over the blockagge) you will find another glich and it TPs you to a secret room...

i’m very late but what really happened is that the wife died in a car accident and the son pushed the daughter off the roof (shown as the roller coaster) and because the neighbor didn’t want to loose his whole family, he locks his son up in the basement, (hence the screaming as he puts someone in the basement). The son ends up turning into the demon (one with flashing eyes) that dan sees in the basement. The son is now seeking revenge of his father for what he did to him. the neighbor also put up the missing posters that you see on the street/lamp posts. The neighbor does this so people think that his kids are missing and not dead / captured. So that’s why when you play the game the neighbor tries to capture you too because he doesn’t want you to reveal what he did to his children. hope i helped:)

The missing posters with the two children on it is most likely the neighbor’s two children, the girl went missing due to her death and the boy is missing bc he’s locked in his father’s (the neighbor) basement

This is my theory on this game. So the neighbor was involved in a car crash and his wife was gravely injured and sent to the hospital and later died. Then the neighbors boy killed the girl by pushing her (by accident or on purpose) off of the roof into the hole on the roof. Then the neighbor buried his daughter in the backyard. Then he dragged the his son in the basement and that's were are character notices the loud screaming from the basement. So the neighbor started to put up missing signs so that way no one would suspect him of his son killing his daughter and him locking up his son. Again that's my theory and I don't know if this is true or not but I have evidence to back my theory up.

I think that the neighbor got in a car crash with the creepy dude and he died and his spirit haunted him forever. Then when you were the kid, you were his child. You saw the crash. Then he kidnapped you and the girl and that's why they were missing. The girl may have died and you escape and became a man. After you were evicted, you moved next to the neighbor's being built house. It was weird because you probably forgot that the neighbor was your father. And last, everything about the fake house may have been were you were kidnapped. In all, this is my theory about hello neighbor. Oh, and he probably made everything crazy because he was shaken by the kidnapping of his son and daughter. And I think the wife died in the car crash.

Basically the car incident (cut scene) was the wife who died because if you listen closely before the crash you hear a woman's voice. So then the neighbor didn't really look after the children probably so the boy pushed the girl off a roof i know this because when you have cut scene when your in the train and you knock the girl over you see hands then it pushes the girl and your on top of a roof. Also you know it's the boy because he was controling the ride. The grave is the wife who sadly died. The person who the neighbor was trying to put in the basement was the boy and the person who let you out of the basement was the boy because if you stay looking from the key hole he pops up!

The JT disc is a secret pointing to the electronic musician and youtuber JT Machina for doing a music video on Hello Neighbor.

DAN! There is a massive secret that you must discover! Get into the yellow room at the top of the house where you found one of the mannequins. Inside that room is lots of item that belongs to the neighbour's family! A dollhouse that belonged to his daughter and a bag and some shoes that belonged to his wife. And if you will also find a picture of the family. You may notice that the neighbour's wife is the one that is lying at the graveyard. She died in the car crash and taken to the hospital. If you look closely at the road in the car crash cutscene, you will see that his wife's shoe is lying on the road. The neighbour's daughter died because her brother pushed her of from a high place and killed her, which you can see from the Roller coaster cutscene/minigame. So the neighbour got angry at his son and locked him down in the basement. So the neighbour buried his daughter in his backyard and locked his son down in the basement and put up the missing poasters so no one would know what he did to them. The neighbours wife was the only one that were confirmed dead. That is what I think is the story, and i hope it helped!
