I miss the pool too, and I agree the storylines for Madge were poor in the last few years. Her first stint between 1986 and 1992 was her best era.

Spot on. The writers couldn't write for Madge properly. When she dared to complain. They turned her into a victim. Pity as her second stint could have been almost as good as her first and lasted much longer. Biggest mistake killing her off.

coatboy1981 Alan Dale was another actor to leave because he was unhappy.

@@salfordiandy4987 your right. Jim was a great character but Alan Dale did very well once he left Neighbours so doubt he regrets leaving.
