After Neil took Blake for a tour of his riding spots when he was young, it was about time for Blake to return the favour. The Isle of Wight MTB Centre wasn't exactly what Blake was riding when he was young as it's only a handful of years old, but you can't take a mountain bike to the Isle of Wight and not ride there! Day 2 consists of a tour by mountain bike out to see the famous Needles... all with a pretty savage headwind!

I just love watching Blake and Neil riding - anywhere. But those skinnies always freak me out!!! I sure wish I could do these long rides without my pack, but I don't have support driving around carrying all my gear. Thank you Blake and Neil for these adventure rides. :) P.S. Our adventure ride yesterday was a 10miler through the Oregon Coast Range, the poison oak is in bloom and I keep itching (even though I didn't get in any)!!!

Trailforks has the best routes on it, I believe. Brighstone forest is where you want to head for the most part. As Gordon has suggested, the chalk ridge runs down the centre of the island (and passes through brighstone forest too).

Hello Mountainbike world, I need your advice! Road racer here, pretty much don’t know anything about this part of the sport, but I want to compete in Mtb next year so need some advice on bike choice. There’s two types of races I’m planning on doing above of my road races: Marathon style as they call it here 2-4h hours big loop guessing 1 suspension is better for this because can put more power down? And laps of a circuit, I guess it’s a bit like the XCO round as the pros did today, guessing full suspension is better for this with more technical parts. So if I want to do both, what should I go with, 1 or 2 suspension? Thx in advance for the advice
