I spend hours wondering "Why" at Neil... And I have had a lot of fun wondering what drug he is addicted to, or what weird Religion he is ADAMANT about... But the more research I did the more I found that Neil is actually really spot on mentally... And unlike Tommy Wiseau or most "Good Bad Movies"... Neil is very intentional and meaning for this to be a "Meme" and just weird fun stuff. Hes VERY aware of what hes making unlike say 99% of hillariously shit movies. And I think that makes him MORE talented and clever.
@@MiraSubieGirl His façade honestly fooled me at first. I thought he was serious for the longest time. He makes the entire thing a very convincing comedy bit. The film is composed like a joke but his execution of expression is so terrible that you think the movie *isn't* a joke. Each and every one of his films follow this code and it never changes, that's an artistic style.
@@TJ_Sauce ^ He has NEVER come out and said this... But you can tell when you watch interviews etc. YMS Adum does a good video on the behind the scenes of Neil.
The difference is that The Room had a budget, Neil's movies don't. Anyone can do utter shit with no budget, but it takes real anti-tallent to make shit that costs millions, a bit like the latest Star Wars movie. Neil is basically doing the movies by himself, while Tommy had an actual crew to make the movie. The Room is cinema, Neil's movies aren't and so the fact they are shit isn't as grand.
@@justayoutubecommentator3059 I think the point was that, even with a budget, the Room was god-awful. It's a lot harder to be bad with a budget than without one.
Tommy Wiseau started to be self-aware with his films after that movie and it completely lost its magic, Neil instead is being 100% serious about what he does, and that's the beauty of it, he's consistent.
director: neil graphics designer: neil all characters: neil sound design: neil everything else: neil background design: neil the background itself: literally neil
I dont know why but his movie and every aspect of it plays out exactly how a 2003 rpg looks and feels - the dialogue, the character movement, special effects, combat etc
If you doubt the authenticity of Neil Breens stunts I'll have you know that he is actually capable of real flight but it's just the video had to be slowed down to capture him moving at all
Y’all, he said he’s never had a beard. I’m fairly certain that he’s had several beers, probably to wash down his many prescribed pills. There’s no way a sober man could come up with such a genius production.
I love Neil Breen, because he tried to make the best movie he can, he fails lmao, but the sheer effort, it’s absolutely respectable, I hope he keeps doing it.
We went to the premiere last year in Chicago and had a blast. Did a review and audience reaction video on our page. It sold out with an attendance of 500+ It was wild!
Neil Breen has truly Doubled Down on his visionary ideas. One day he shall hopefully Pass Thru his Fateful Findings to a Twisted Pair who can carry on his legacy and announce to the world "I Am Here....Now"
"You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Neil."
Neil Breen has the perfect personality for these things. You can tell he is thinking, the humanoids don't get it yet, but one day they will be saved by my genius
*”Follow me. You won’t get hurt. Follow me.”* He sounds like a robot that’s been programmed to lure people into dark alleys. EDIT: I wrote this before realizing this has... something to do with him being robotic? Maybe? I can’t tell to be honest. SECOND EDIT: MY GOD HES ACTUALLY A SEXUAL PREDATOR TOO WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED So this is my third edit it feels like I’m locked in some fever dream state and I’m writing down my discoveries as to not lose my mind but now I genuinely have no idea what is happening and now there’s latex gimp suits.
