His vax argument only holds water if it prevents transmission, which it didn’t. Really surprised Pat basically completely left that out. If you have it, and you’re protected because of that, and all of us spread it among each other regardless of shot status, then forcing it is a moot point.
That's not actually, let's discard all the other things vaccine did but, the vaccine stoped transmission to some point, and as Tyson said, lets said it stopped 47‰ of transmissions, you just have to wight in the benefit/cost of the injection

PBD loves moving the goal post by asking someone a question and then not letting the person answer it, by constantly interrupting them with other tangential questions. A true sign of someone who can't defend their position.
A “social contract” what about the social contract to respect everyone’s medical decisions, what about the social contract to not ruin peoples lively hood on purpose
@TRAVELER there was, and still is no proof it keeps it from spreading. So the fck should anyone put themselves at risk for dying or having permanent health problems, WHICH IT DOES.
@TRAVELER just like Neil said, you repeat something long enough and get enough weak minded people to repeat it in hope that it becomes true. There is no social contract, it’s called tyranny and a violation of individuals rights.
I agree, he has a message by the establishment and he's a puppet who must follow his orders. he's the biggest FRAUD! a scientist that once said "DONT QUESTION SCIENCE" is a pseudoscientist ! that what he is !
He's talking about formal debates. Not answering some questions during an interview. Debates have a confined format that inhibits their ability to be objective. Is about who can argue about a topic on a more effective manner, not about who can prove their argument based purely on objective facts. They both made that pretty clear.
This will 100% be the LAST NDT interview I ever watch. I only watched it because it's PBD Podcast, but in this episode, this dude exposed himself for being the most pretentious, know-it-all, "scientist" who never lets anyone speak because he just loves the sound of his own voice too much. His justification of vaccine mandates was the last straw for me. Absolutely shameful. This dude is NOT YOUR FRIEND. I really cannot stand this individual, and it's a shame, because as a young black boy wanting to pursue STEM, I used to look up to him. Not anymore. P.S. Did you know that he spoke at the WEF? All of the above makes perfect sense now.
Well this wasn't a debate you speaker of division. This was a meeting of the minds having a discussion of topics you wish you could expand on with such importance. Sit down short round.
My problem about this vaccine debate is that Neil seems to believe that all scientific studies and articles are uncorrupt and that all scientists are honest.
And that only the experts he listens to that say what he wants are correct and infallable, but studies and outcomes from other countries and other epidemioligists who say different just don't exist.
Studies are peered reviewed by the global community. It would be in chinas or Russias best interest to show we lied in out studies to destroy our country. No one has done this. Why?
@@bcbw07 why would it be in their interest when they also enforced extreme covid measures, to the point of mass protests, and also pushed vaccines to show that they overreacted and were wrong as well?

I am scientifically literate! Get the vaccine right away! What is in the vaccine? Oh the ingredients haven't been released yet, however get it anyway. Wouldn't the ingredients be one of the most important factors?
@leoneilbacon9152 too bad he wasn't smart enough to understand what they were pointing out about inadequate testing of the vax, and it surprised me that distrustful acts of big pharma were never mentioned. It is like choosing a known pedo be your babysitter. So called smart people can be pretty dumb like this sometimes when they think they got it "figured out". In general, it is better to have smart people talking, but when we see all the terrible gross stuff coming out of the dead people since the vax started is terrifying and any one aware of the corruption and fraud (biggest case in US history) in the medical industry was. It is insane no one is talking about the morticians right now. It is sad he actually has this much trust in this corrupt system that has been allowing terrible things to happen for as long as the country has existed. Funny he says he hates debate but spent the whole time debating. They told NDT about the stuff growing in the veins and arteries of the vaxed.
I knew that then, NDT knew that then. The vaccine only (or mostly) prevented bad consequences from COVID, like hospitalization or death. Public data is available that verifies this.
That's right...first all ( white house- fascinating the media) all said it stopped transmission...total exposed by that - I believe Danish journalist in Europe to Pfizer...and she laughed like it was silly question...crazy time
It's a surface level point the point of debate teams is to practice debate not validate your beliefs. That's why they randomly assign sides. The fact neil would use this to discredit debate in general is just dumb.
@@jeff2209 He was using it to discredit congress because members of a party are told what to say in a debate and they must argue that point regardless of what they truly believe. Congress debates are 0% reflection and just hammering your point better than the opposition. There is no judge in congress debates, only someone to moderate and maintain order. Even if you persuade someone to change their beliefs, their credibility and reputation depends on them winning the argument and not being swayed.
His reaction to PBD criticizing the vaccine testing period(or lack thereof) - is that how a scientist should respond to fair criticism? Tyson didn't even give pause, just immediately got almost hysterical. And that "one thing" that Tyson refers to is death. That's a big one for a lot of folks.
Did he not react to it fairly though? Was it not tested enough? Fair point, but under the urgent conditions of the time a choice needed to be made when it would be good enough. Since the covid deaths went down dramatically after the vaccinations, it seems to clearly have done the job. And to the next point of worrying about unknown potential side effects: Same reasoning as before. Sure there could be something less harmful then death or long term covid, but it's really not a contest what is the rational choice.
@@shandelebroyles1099 You're not making a point. May I remind you that the same vaccine has been used in variations worldwide? You want to tell me all the meida in all countries are part of the same conspiracy to...do what exactly? Vaccinate people during a pandemic? The horror!
The other issue that people like Neil cant seem to wrap there heads around is that the risks vs rewards vary greatly from person to person. It might be a good idea for someone and not for another. This idea that youre putting other people at risk by not taking it is simply a lie. Why should anyone lose there job for not taking the vaccine? What if we took the opposite position and said, youre putting others at risk by getting a treatment we don't know the effects of? You cant drive for uber because we dont know if youll have a heart attack, a seizure, etc. I think Neil has exposed bis biases lately. Hes owned.
The reason he responded in such manner because Patrick was claiming false assumptions. He had to let him know that what he thinks happened is not really what actually happened.
That quote is in reference to the state of Pennsylvania having the freedom to govern and tax the Penn family who were essentially corrupt oligarchs, versus the “safety” of the Penn family funding frontier defense during the French and Indian war. It’s freedom of the state to govern effectively, not freedom of you not to participate in public health measures.
The coldest part is Neil is not looking or accounting for the update statistics and findings that are posted everywhere including the CDC. Which is the side effects that are known as of today. You have to wonder how much is being paid in hush money.
I believe that example was an attempt to get Neil to understand people were still choosing to head to Florida even though the experts all said it was one of the worst places to be. Neil is leaning very heavily on his "stats" and "data" (the accuracy of which is up for debate depending on where those numbers came from). So his point being, if the stats and data all reflect how helpful the vaccine was, then why are some of the most powerful and rich deciding to go there? It's not meant to be "proof" of anything, it's simply meant to try and get Neil to think about where he's getting his information from. It just was executed poorly imo.
If god is the explanation for the universe then what is the explanation for god? If god does not require an explanation, why not? And why can't that be the universe? The irony is your comment is so glib... 🙄
The idea that a vaccine needs to be 100% effective and completely prevent any infection is a misconception. Vaccines train your body to deal with diseases and significantly reduce your likelihood of infection or severe symptoms from a disease. It's a good thing to get vaccinated.
That in itself isnt necessarily problematic. Without knowing what the change was in the US definition, I know it's independently considered a vaccine in all of Europe and the rest of the world.
What are you talking about? The vaccine did prevent death and was exactly the point Neil was making which you can see if you watch deaths before and after vaccine was introduced. You're just too dumb to understand how stats work
Can you elaborate as to how the vaccine didn't reduce the risk of serious injury? Feel free to link where you saw this information. Unless you've just parroted it from right-wing talking heads.

Exactly, healthy individuals that had a mind of their own were put down, outcast and made feel like second rate citizens while being ridiculed and coerced, while media and governments put unhealthy people first, most of whom are in the unhealthy state that they are in from their own poor health choices. Also, I don't need a phD in biology to understand how ineffective COVID was for those who were/are of the at-risk population versus those who were not/are not of the at-risk population.

Here's a summary of the highlights I appreciated. Neil was talking about taking the Faxxine but instead he used the word Firus 3 different times in a row. At 8:24 Neal said "your decision point is, I'm not going to take the Firus because 5 years 10 years I don't know what effect it will have". 8:36 Neil said "I don't want to take the Firus because five or 10 years from now there could be a side effect that we don't see". 8:50 Neil said "I don't want to take the Firus because it hasn't been tested for 5 years and there could be some long-term side effect that worries me." Neal repeatedly said the magic Faxxine was tested at these times, 0:12, 0:15, 0:22, 0:45. However, Neil left out the fact that Fhizer CEO Albert Bourla tweeted in April 2021 that the vaccine was “100% effective in preventing COVID cases in South Africa, and later in October 2022 the Fhizer executive Janine Small admitted to the European Parliament that Fhizer never tested the Faxxine to see if it would stop transmission. So there was never any test done to prove it reduced transmission. At 2:35 Neil said "If you do not get Faxxinated you will put other people in this organization at risk and this organization And that organization does not want to take that risk so you do not have a job anymore." At 10:30 Neil said "you don't have the right to contaminate someone else". So if the Faxxines weren't tested to see if they would stop transmission then how would it stop transmission to other people working in an organization? At 11:32 thru 11:48 Neil said " I take the vaccine and accept the risk that I will grow a third arm. It seems that Neil knows something we don't know. I already have a third arm, I was born with it. I don't need to take a Faxxine to grow a third arm. Seems like Neil has third arm envy, no wonder he took the Faxxine.
