He is my all time favorite singer. I saw a recent interview and he was struggling to speak. Just like me with Diabetes, I hate it. But I hate seeing Neil struggle to speak.

That's what I noticed, too; the energy he has; and even at 70-something, I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers...and he's got almost 20 years on me.

Yeah! Agree w everything u said. Just found out yesterday that he has Parkinson disease@ it made me v. Sad! I,m listening to his music since mid '80,s when I came to America w my new husband. And his song coming to America ,we fell in love w as new immigrants who wanted a better future for us.

I listen to is music practically every day. I have been addicted to it since I was about 7 years old in 1967. I remember "I'm a Believer" running through my mind when I was in 2nd Grade.

I favor Neil about everyone else, but in addition to him, I do enjoy listening to Elvis and Johnny Mathis. They all have very distinct voices. What makes Neil the most talented, though, is he writes his own music.

I was in the fields too. His voice and words were so comforting. He sang so clearly and his expression and feeling were sincere and honest. He is still in my heart. He has a place in my soul. Thank you dear sir. Live in Beauty.

I wasn't a farm worker, but worked in restaurants and am the daughter of an immigrant who came to the US after WWII. I started listening to Neil Diamond when I was 12. His voice, words & melodies kept me going through tough times & happy ones too. I saw him in San Francisco in 1985. The music of our lives - there are many of us who have liked Neil Duamond for a long time. I'm sorry he had to stop performing because of Parkinson's because he said he enjoyed his concerts as much as the audiences.. Thank you for sharing your story. Best wishes to you & your family.♡
