You must remember radio stations like this are private and funded by advertising so the bottom line is pander to the masses. Talk about common issues such as wheelie bins, social and local issues, crime, water, HSE, blah de blah. It's broadcasting for the average Joe so don't expect to learn from it. I find it extremely irritating and narrow minded plus the music they play, put it this way, if it wasn't for Rihanna, Coldplay, etc they would have nothing to play. I never listen to it and if it's on in a place I'm in I just filter it out. It's a waste if broadcasting space to be honest!
I hate the way talk radio DJs like him preach from their self imposed elevation of righteousness. Recently he was ranting about a guy at Cork Kent Train station lobbing it out and urination in a doorway and actually said that's the way the world is going! I mean one guy pissing in public the odd time spells doom for mankind? At least he didn't do what Prendeville did! He was known as Jim Lockhart on pirate radio ERI in the 80s!
