Thanks, with my Dutch I could understand quite reasonably :-) Some beginner's questions: 1) what is a recommended sail size and wind speed to try foiling for the first time? 2) for the first time out, where to best set the mast-foot... all the way to front? 3) what is the recommended front foot-strap position.... to the front and inward or other? Or to front and outward? or other? 4) what is the recommended back foot-strap position? (idem) 5) what is recommended boom-height? Low or high? 6) what is recommended harness lines? Long or short? Greatly appreciate your insights!
Hello, normlay you don´t need something bigger then 6qm With the Glide you can choose smaller sails. 4,5qm - 5,5qm. Put the mast base and the Foil in the middle and try out a bit what works well for you You want the footstraps to be more outside as you can then put pressure on the foil and go upwind! We will have a video for that next week :) Put the boom higher and don´t use harness lines. Make your first tries in lighter winds ;) Best regards Julian
