Great show last night at Red Rocks. I was back in row 25 and couldn't see the grins and smiles on their faces as well as seen here. They were having way too much fun up there. They played very little off the new album and the new songs are all amazing. 'Walk Like a Giant" was the jam of the night. Hopin they release an album soon with these new songs. The Alabama Shakes are amazing! Otis Redding lives in her voice. Wish I could go again tonight. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW when it comes around!
I've seen a lot of videos of Neil's recent tours without Crazy Horse, and I have to say he looks a much more relaxed and like he's having a lot more fun on stage when he's with Crazy Horse
In later years they perfected this where Poncho gives a running narrative, they had the audience in their hands, a 15min live epic. We miss you Poncho.
No, ive seen this show twice and checked all of his set lists. Needle and the Damage Done is for sure and if your lucky you will hear Down by the River, Keep on Rocking in the Free World or Mr. Soul. Im with you on Old Man and Heart of Gold. I heard Old Man on his solo Twisted Road Tour. Still waiting for Heart of Gold.
I've seen Neil Young and Crazy Horse, solo and with CSNY and his other back up bands. He rocks live and is very loud but he needs play longer than these 13 song setlists.
Does anyone happen to know of there doing old man or heart of gold on this tour cause when I looked at some of the recent shows set lists they weren't on there. Regardless he will be amazing but I just wanted to know ??
