First off, do NOT copy and paste this. I put so much effort into this and I do not want people to copy and paste this because this was MY OWN effort. If I see anyone copying and pasting this to another video I will burst. I spent 1h and a half on this writing 10 detailed reasons on why Mitsuki isn't abusive. By the way this comment isn't directed to this video, I thought I might just put it on every MHA video I see because some people think that Bakugou mom Mitsuki is abusive. I will point out obvious answers. Again, DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THIS, I WOULD CONSIDER THAT SAME AS COPYRIGHT. I DO NOT WANT MY EFFORTS TO GO TO WASTE. v 10 detailed reasons down here 1. Mitsuki wasn't planned to be abusive, Hiro already confirmed that it was just a way of discipline 2. Mitsuki is just aggressive and she has the same temper as Bakugou. So I'm thinking that's where he got his temper 3. There is only a AU where his dad is abusive. It's NOT true. Bakugou has more respect for his father then he does his mother. In the manga there was a scence where Bakugou and his mother got into a fight. You could see that he was talking more calmly to his dad then his mother 4. . Look at her expression. She is actually caring about Bakugou! You can also see how she cares for him! 5. She used physical force just because Bakugou was disrespecting her in front of people. In the first place the slap was meant to be joking. As you can see there was no real anger towards that slap and if his mother really was abusive she would obviously not slap him now but later when the teachers are gone. 6."It's all your fault if you weren't so damn weak then you wouldn't have been kidnapped in the first place" Bakugou might have been mentally abused but not physically. Mitsuki sees Bakugou's as stupid and when he started getting praise from other kids he started acting powerful. Bakugou is acting tough because he had never received praise. Well Bakugou never knew that he was acting like his mother rather he was pushing away the pain and acting tough. So if you start saying Bakugou is mentally abused I'm fine with it. I can't do anything against that. But he is NOT physically abused different to todoroki, he was actually given choices on what to do. 7. There is a difference between Shoto and Katsuki, Shoto was physically abused and he also broke sooner. Whilst Katsuki only broke in front of All-might and Midoriya because he didn't want others to see his weak side. 8. She explains her behaviours towards Katsuki shortly afterwards:“Katsuki's reckless and really good at everything, and he was blessed with a good Quirk too, so he had other people fawning over him all the time and ended up like this. He kept getting praised for shallow stuff.” 9. Katsuki used to get praised alot in middle school by his classmates and teachers. Mitsuki being a parent would try to balance the over estimation of the Bakugou, since he might become arrogant and have too much ego. But probably failed and instead made him aggressive. I think that's what his mom is doing but in a very bad way. Just trying to teach him to be humble and things like that. 10. I have seen people who thought the pushing head down part was abuse. It is just bowing. Katsuki is not someone who would willingly do that. So would I say Katsuki is being abused? Yes and No. I partly think he is being mentally abused just because of the way he is raised in his household. I don't think though it's Katsuki's Mom's fault but partly yes.
