This is the first song I learned to sing with vocal lessons. It's been one of my favorite songs for years. Nelly's fado type songs celebrating her Portugese heritage are very moving as well like Scared of You and Onde estas.

Her best songs are Powerless (Say What You Want) and I’m Like A Bird. I grew up in Vancouver, Canada and just moved to Vancouver Island, where Nelly Furtado is from (Victoria). I prefer her singer/songwriter days to her newer stuff where she worked with rappers.
