It is not practical to block a punch like the way shown at 1:08. It seems work but just in a demo. In real fight, how one can block a fast punch like that.

You're right - this video series is geared more for Ving Tsun practitioners in the Moy Yat lineage, or who are interested in the kung fu taught in this lineage.
