I can't believe anybody in the world doesn't know the great Nelson Mandela. I remember reading about him in 5 standard about an African men who faught against the colonizers I remember imagining him in super hero costume fighting the bad guys then I saw his picture in further class he is just a normal guy no superhero costume no flying in air just a normal guy I couldn't believe an ordinary from Africa was so brave he was is and always be an inspiration. I proud to say we in our country we taught about this great hero.
They can call u a sellout. But they can never take away your greatness which is acclaimed by millions in this world. You are truly remarkable. I salute you Mr Mandela
Afrikaners call De Klerk a traitor. They call him a sellout. EFF and Malema in particular call him a Murderer. Afrikaners blame Mandela but more the ANC for making the failed rainbow nation. South Africa now needs leadership in Mandela's and De Klerk's spirit. The message the two brought. And the message that they recieved their nobel prizes for. That is the spirit you, or better, we need in Suid-Afrika. I'm not South-African, to my great regret because it's a beautiful country with massive ootention. I am Dutch. But I have been following SA history and politics for quite a while now. And instead of killing Boers we should be killing populists like Honourable Malema.
Forever in our hearts, you cannot be faulted, you are Africa,s pride and hero, won the respect of many through perseverance, forgiveness and an unblemished enviable character, the oppressors at the time, stole his freedom for 27 long yrs, but never his swift mind and sense of humour, love u ❤ Nelson Mandela, RIP. Madiba
Ons vir jou, Suid-Afrika! That should be the spirit. And not because it's in Die Stem, which is a prideful song and respected by Mandela., But more because it's what all South Africans should do. We for thee. The people are the nation. Not Ramaphosa. Ramaphosa isn't South Africa. Even if he can talk. Mandela isn't South Africa. He sure has a sense of humor and a charisma higher then Mount Everest. But he isn't South Africa. Not alone. Everyone living between Limpopo and Cape Town is South Africa. Ons vir jou is die boodskap!
I love this great son of Adam. Greatness never went to his head, his humility is stellar, his humor ceaseless and his forgiveness of the enemy...legendary. Mr. Mandela, I salute you. May God bless you and grant you eternal bliss in heaven (Aameen)
It's not about shouting out of order etc.. It's about the maturity.. Look that's how a president behaves. Look how people respect him. Compare to this country
oh my president , indeed a leader like no other , jesus christ , re-incarnate this man , we never knew point of orders in his day , gosh we really missing him more every second DALIBUNGA
The ending of this video touched me. The order Tata's presence brought was spectacular. Look at the circus we experience today. SMH! He is truly missed by his nation
Just wanted to check up on Tata's greatest speech. I admire the spirit of Nelson Mandela. Thank you Tata For everything. I'll always admire u, u're my role model. . . . . . .
How could a respectful person like u say such words or make a joke about the unemployed people.it reminds me of his words in London when he said: (A leader who CHANGE his principle is not a person who can lead the nation). South Africa's to know the anc very well u need to start from de BIGGINING of de party how it was formed/de EXILE/during roben island/after 20yrs n last 7yrs/negotiations time with de oppressors...
Sandile V Gina indeed so painful to compare. There is hope, it won't be long to wait to see change in our own eyes. indeed winds of change are blowing, no one can stop that.
indeed so painful to watch the video of Mr Mandela in parliament and compare to today's proceedings. Winds of change are blowing and nothing can stop that. It won't be long before we see change with our own eyes.
It is hard to believe that he made this Speech way back in 1999. He had a weird tonal voice that many people could relate to. N.Mandela ensured that many people had freedom within the South Africa Republic,
What a wonderful man and leader Madiba was, we thank him for his wisdom and trust and that we now can finally starts to build the RAINBOW NATION now that we have a new leadership in President Ramaphosa. Let us start to respect each other, learn to love and help each other in the most wonderful country in the world. Lets get rid of corruption, be an example to our children and the world and give President Ramaphosa the opportunity to deal with the land issue in a constructive manner. Let the government really starts to build houses and get our people out of their informal housing. Let us stand together as a Nation make room for each other to live in harmony as we can have successful black and successful white farmers lets not go the Zim way. Let us learn to smile to say hello, to live and let live lets all create jobs build trust and respect among each other let us braai together and be one as a Nation. I have many white friends and I also have many black friends whom I do respect. Lets really become free and let us become the Rainbow Nation lets not destroy ourselves and the legacy of Madiba. God Bless South Africa.
Rest in peace Mr Mandela, a great leader of men, ALL MEN. A great statesman, who was able and courageous enough to move forward from the injustices of the past, in the interests of all his countrymen, regardless of colour. We all miss you sir.
Before there was any "shut up steenhuisen and listen" Before there was any "nathi siyakhuluma, ungasho ukuthi ukhuluma sengathi sisendleni yakho. This is not your house" Before there was any "Honorable members of the EFF please leave the house" Before there was any "Honorable President, when are you paying back the money?"
R. I. P. Our honourable President. You have done enough for us sir. I just imagine the combination you and the late honourable Chris Hani, either as Deputy President or Minister of Defence.

Mr Mandela was tremendously protected by God and the apartheid regime could not touch him and killed him. I salute you Giant of all giants, man of valor, of integrity and stature.God bless your soul.
We have to protect or follow our freedom charter. Mandela said we must move forward the Gennys continue. We must still remember the likes of criss hanni, Solomon mahlangu, moses kotane, garven mbeki, uncle kathy etc. We must fight for a better life for all. Amandla
Nyerere is great, followed by Mandela, Kaunda and this time emerges J. P. Magufuli who is bringing back respect and hope for all Tanzanians and Africa at large!
