Join me as the tension continues to rise in Nemesis designed by Adam Kwapiński and published by Awaken Realms! Can we complete our objectives and survive? Time will tell...enjoy my friends! ;D FYI: 16:15 Missed a surprise attack against the Bounty Hunter. 30:50 Ironically the Adult intruder didn’t take to kindly to me forgetting the above and attacked the Bounty Hunter. However, this attack should have been against the Medic as the Medic triggered the Adult showing up here. So long story short the Medic is owed a surprise attack. 52:19 The Medic has a surprise attack coming her way from an Adult Intruder that showed up here. Plus I’m going to add another surprise attack to make up for the one she missed. Ouch! Should be a fun day for her! haha Want the background music for yourself? At the end of the video you didn't need to roll for noise for the bounty hunter because they were in a room with an intruder. Great video, I'm really enjoying this playthrough. Would love to see Voidseekers or Carnomorphs as well.
Hi Steve! Appreciate that feedback. I think there is a good chance I could be revisiting this in the future with one of those two. We shall see! Thanks for letting me know your interest. :)
I've been where you are too many times to mention. Excellent play-through once again. The one thing I notice in my play is that I tend to also forget to roll for something and have to retrace my steps or just play on, knowing full well the Intruders will somehow cause my demise.
Man, watching this makes me want to play Nemesis, but every copy I've found out there is exceedingly expensive. Ah well. I'll live vicariously through you. 😅
@@RollingSolo I did not, unfortunately. I only caught wind of the Kickstarter yesterday, and unless I read it wrong, it's over already. So I'll have to either wait for them to hit retail again or keep searching.
Thanks for the video Adam! Question, around 14:08 on the "Noise Technical Corridors" card, since the Bounty Hunter was in the engine room, there are two technical corridors attached. Shouldn't you have put a noise in the blue corridor, since it didn't have one, then roll for noise as the card indicated since the red one already did already have one? You rolled a 4, so it wouldn't have affected game play, but I was just curious.
Hey! I wondered this as well. Wasn’t 100% sure that other technical corridor would get one based on the card wording. As you mentioned it didn’t impact gameplay so that’s a plus. :)
@@RollingSolo Indeed these sleeves are fantastic! These are the next 2 questions :) 1. I understand that you only use colored sleeves for character cards? 2. And how to deal with sleeves on contamination cards? Each character has its own color, i.e. after receiving a random contamination card, it is only then that you have to put it in the sleeve of the appropriate color? And finally: what is the music from 1:24 (the same from 54:14) ? It sounds scary and I like it a lot and since I am a musician (cello) myself, I pay attention to such things :) Great movie - thank you and I look forward to continuing
Hey! Yes just for characters. I have all other cards in Mayday Standard sleeves. When I draw a contamination card I take off the sleeve and throw a coloured ultra pro eclipse on it. Another way to handle this would be to put perfect fit sleeves on all of them. Then just fire contamination cards right into the ultra pro eclipse. I have to do this soon now that I mention it! The music you can find a link to in the vid description!
I'm enjoying the play through and have my fingers crossed for your peeps, but do you need to do a surprise attack for that adult that showed up right at the end?
30:50 im pretty sure there is some rule mistake as Well? Its The One triggering The suprice attack, that takes The dmg. The rule you are talking about, is The phase Where aliens already on The board picks a target:)
Thematically, maybe your bounty hunter missed those first two shots because 1 the alien is very fast (moved through the vent all the way across the ship to where you were) and 2, it's harder to aim when he's got a bum leg. I imagine it as his leg is wounded to the point where he's dragging it and it doesn't have the ability to bear weight. So between the fast alien and the fact that he has to aim steady on one leg (or leaning on the wall or the medic), it's certainly understandable that his aim suffered. (You said you didn't know why he shot into the blackness so just helping out there). Loving this playthrough so far, can't wait to see how it turns out for you in the next video xD
I love this so much! :D Thanks for adding some more thematic tie-in. I do this as well. It was creepy how it disappeared and re-appeared shortly after. It's hunting me!
Hey Mr. Rolling! Maybe you didnt see my last 2 replies to a rule question, so now im trying it here: Didnt you forget it suprise attack around 16:15? 30:50 im pretty sure there is some rule mistake as Well? Its The One triggering The suprice attack, that takes The dmg. The rule you are talking about, is The phase Where aliens already on The board picks a target:)
Good catches! Alright I got it all sorted in the pinned comment now. Two surprise attacks for the Medic going into the next video. Going to be a good day for her haha
Hey Dominik! Being that the tokens in the revealed rooms are exploration tokens. I would assume so! Card isn’t super clear on it but that’s the way I’m leaning. I’ll double check with the designer. :)
I enjoyed both for different reasons. Lockdown was very different with the computer usage, power mechanics, elevator and win conditions being different. I liked how the core game remaining but big changes made the game feel fresh!
