His UMvC3 theme sounds like something that would take place in a JRPG game cutscene when they had just revealed Nemesis for the first time and you have to fight him unprepared in a losing scripted battle while this version of his theme gives you that vibe where he's chasing you down in a tight corridor and you have to quickly escape while he blows up everything in his path and echoes of "STAAAAAARRRRRRSSSSSS" are heard as you escape.

Why not combine the scenarios? You’re in a situation where you must escape Nemesis, because he is too strong for your party to be able to defeat at your current level, and if he catches you, you’re forced into a losing scripted battle which results in a game over.

At first I was a bit hesitant seeing Nemesis announced for this game but now that I got to play him I gotta say, he's awesome to play and his theme might be the best one in MVCI. Also, i gotta give Nemesis some credit, this persistent punk just won't give up. I thought I was through with you in RE3!

fun fact: my dad got to this fight in the story and he couldn't beat NEMISIS my brother couldn't beat NEMISIS i was the only one i started the fight as spider-man and ended it with Chris but before I finished good ol, nemisis i said *you want stars? ILL GIVE YOU STARS!* and with the sound of a gun shot nemisis was down they asked me"howd you do that" *nemisis is my favorite capcom character in the game*

Marcus Bullock space stone or reality stone. Space stone helps him pull the opponent closer to him, and he can start his offense. Reality stone gives him an approach option with the infinity surge. Just my opinion anyways

I'd vote for Nemesis simply due to the fact that it pretty much can regenerate and took using a freaking *rail gun* to finally kill it. Big Daddys are tough, but they can't regenerate like Nemesis. Even if the Big Daddy could survive hit after hit, it wouldn't really have a concrete means of keeping Nemesis down.

Carnege50 well, this IS Nemesis, who is probably the slowest character in the game. His original theme is also slow, no need to speed it up like they did in UMVC3

Games_of_Hell> Which I find odd seeing as he was blisteringly fast compared to every other enemy in RE3 (save maybe Hunters). He had his menacing, ominous, impending-doom walk and boss-character-taunt roar, but he also had his insane run. I'm a bit sad they didn't add that into his character in Marvel somehow, like on the heavy version of his clothesline punch (run until in range of enemy, then punch). It's one of the most memorable parts of his character (His unrelenting tenacity, his imposing figure, his speed) IMO, honestly.

Lord Haari you’re completely right. That dash was fucking terrifying. Like “oh, I’ma be safe” and then he just fucking sprints at you. They could have honestly made that a thing like Abigail’s dash in SFV, where you have other options out of the command run. Now that you bring that up, that could have been very VERY interesting

Games_of_Hell> Yeah, I'd like to think it's untapped potential, especially the possibility of a command run-esque move like you said. That said, at least we have Nemesis in Marvel at all. His being a playable character is what got me into Marvel 3 (alongside Firebrand) and has me at all interested in Infinite -- well, that and Monster Hunter.
