The Trooper cover was the first video that made Nemophila known. This was one of the songs played in the band's first performance, when they didn't even have a name. Nemophila was reunited to be a support band for Mayu, who was without a band. They were simply called the Mayu Session Band. The result was so good that they decided to continue as a band.

Great band, Happy Metal strikes again ! Btw, i first saw Maiden in 1982 and most recently in 2018 with lots of shows inbetween. They just keep getting better but they cant go on forever. If you get a chance to go to Rock In Rio, grab it with both hands, you wont be disappointed. Hell, if i lived in Brasil i'd go with ya, lol !! 🤘😁🤘
As others have said, the Trooper was the very first video they uploaded - unless there was a lot of lead time between when it was filmed and when it was uploaded, the drummer Tamu was probably at least 5 months pregnant in the video (the Trooper and the original studio video for Oiran were both uploaded in February 2020, Tamu then went on maternity leave and next appeared in a video 4 months later at the end of June 2020 - she didn't actually play drums in the video, which was a cover of Guerilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine, but was shown working out to get herself back in shape after having given birth). My understanding from what I've seen others say (I can't read it myself) is that the sign Mayu holds up in the banana song (aka Barbara Ann) says something along the lines of "I want to do the Metal version" All of Nemophila's covers are awesome you can't go wrong with any of them Maiden puts on an awesome show if you have a chance to see them, though I can understand if your trepidation is about the size of the crowd (my understanding is Rock in Rio draws over 100,000) - hopefully things will be more normal again by next year.

Bruce was diagnosed with cancer, so, I dunno how locked in the Rio show will be. To me, I always thought of Love Bites as being the most like Iron Maiden. Nemophila did a pretty good job, though.
